Nathalie and Josh met their sophomore year at Stanford, and started dating a week after meeting each other. Nathalie tried to impress Josh by joining him on a 16 mile hike their first month of dating - something she has not done since.
The couple was apart in the fall of junior year while Nathalie was at Oxford, but enjoyed traveling through the UK together and dressing up for balls!
COVID kicked the couple out of college for a whole year, during which they spent most of their time in Kansas City! Beyond enjoying the city themselves, they also convinced their Stanford friends to join them for three months.
Nathalie and Josh finally got to return to campus and graduate in June, 2021! Nathalie headed off to Boston for a year-long research fellowship, while Josh stayed at Stanford to finish his masters degree.
2022 was a year of change! Josh and Nathalie finally moved to New York, started their first jobs, and adopted Penny!
Josh proposed to Nathalie in July, 2022, during their trip to London. It was the easiest "yes" she's ever said.
