Natasha Singh
Maid of Honor

Jab We Met: per our home videos, she used to love rattling me around as an infant to dance to Madhuri Dixit songs in our kitchen

Favorite memory: spontaneous front row tickets to Taylor Swift's 1989 concert in Philly, carving pumpkins and walking to Paper Moon Cafe in Baltimore, almost setting the house on fire while mummy and daddy were in India, the car "incidents," getting letters from you when you were in college with JHU gear, walking to see every single thing NYC had to offer in a week until my feet went numb -- serendipity, Time's Square, Columbus Circle Rickshaw, Little Mermaid on Broadway, Fifth Ave (still mad you made us walk into Prada like that), cannolis in Little Italy, touring Columbia's campus, seeing SOHO and trying Baked by Melissa for the first time, eating Famiglia's every five minutes -- all until I couldn't physically move to see the JoBros at GMA at the end of the week but you still got up and were hype to go, "spying" on you and your cool friends when you were in high school and I was a little baby, watching you play soccer from the end zones at HHS, you riding on my horse after you passed out from your concussion at Vaishnu Devi, our Trinidad trip because I was your new #BFFL, going to my first NBA game at the Mavs as our first sister's date,

Fun fact: she has successfully stalked/met more celebrities than you can imagine (ask her about the time she met Jay-Z!)

Namita Kansal
Bridesmaid

Jab We Met: meeting her on a C1 bus after my freshman Awaaz!

Favorite memorys: You inviting me over before really knowing me to stay with the fam and attend your high school graduation party, Summer of 2014 when we got to spend the summer in Durham together, NYE in DC, DIYA semi 2014, the night we tried to stay up watching All American because it was "hilarious," dancing the night away at Surbz' wedding, NYE in NYC, LDOC your freshman year (I blame Aman), watching Ki Aur Ka in the theater, NOLA karaoke at Cat's Meow, Natty Championship 2015

Fun Facts: She can basically work the movie Koi Mil Gaya into ANY conversation, she has one playlist and ONE playlist only (cue nowhere I'd rather be), she cooks up quite the storm and will make sure you've eaten until you're STUFFED

Adrianna Maldonado
Bridesmaid

Jab We Met: meeting her in Didi's freshman dorm at JHU when I visited as a 10 year old. She was one of Didi's only friends who pretended I was cool enough to hangout with from the start!

Favorite Memories: One of my favorite memories is our weekend together in Baltimore -- going around campus with you and Didi to see dance practices, walking to Paper Moon, getting to see real life dorm "drama" I loved spending time with my two big sisters! Our many Singh sister events in Dallas are always a laugh and definitely our girl's weekend in Boston!

Fun Fact: she falls on the Taylor side of Taylor vs. Kimye (just like ME!)

Aarti Asrani
Bridesmaid

Jab We Met: we got excited and took a picture together because we were both wearing matching mint green pants the first week of freshman year....then Aarti got "too cool" for me but I relentlessly pursued her until we became besties by our first summer together

Favorite memories: DC summer together -- first time using Ubers, Adams Morgan, and crazy roommates -- the world was our oyster! Also pantsing you, also the night we kidnapped you for your 22nd and just spun you around in circles in the BC lot, also Natty Champs 2k15, and Miami, Vegas, LA, and Savannah -- we like to travel in ishtyle!

Fun Fact: she is the queen of small talk and could keep an entire dinner party going with "can I ask you a question?" This has saved us many a time, namely Dashi Night

Ben Lee
Bridesman

Jab We Met: I remember meeting him on the second floor of Giles during freshman year and wondering why he was taking Organic Chemistry right off the bat (my biggest mistake freshman year was thinking I only needed to study as long as Ben studied to get an A...he was offered a TA position for that class and I was praying for a curve to save me)

Favorite Memories: Freshman year Halloween (thank you for the ride back to East) and any and every class council meeting, event (Blue and White Dinner), and activity during which Ben was the brain and I was the hype....also that night you harassed me about my personal hygiene Freshman year

Fun Fact: Ben used to get his hair cut like Frankie Muniz until his NYC glow-up. He is also a mainstay in my emergency contacts for freak outs and parking tickets.

Carly Wenyon
Bridesmaid

Jab We Met: First day of 6th grade in Mrs. Goldston's class, I remember she was the trendy one wearing flip flops with her jeans and she walked right up to me to introduce herself. The rest, as they say, is history!

Favorite memories: Senior year English in Mrs. Culver's class --twitter commentary, Grendel the Green Giant, and larping -- and opening up college rejections/acceptances on your floor while Mrs. Wenyon made me apple turnovers to ease the drama

Fun fact: she ran everything from STUCO to Homecoming and she can carry a tune on stage -- basically she should have stopped me from auditioning for the school musical senior year and she chose to just watch me crash and burn during my rendition of "Be our Guest" instead

Junie Lee
Bridesmaid

Jab We Met: both of us talking separately to our friends about our stress related to Pre-AP chemistry and then realizing we should be talking to each other instead

Favorite memory: the week we became besties we spent every night at my house working on our chemistry music video "It's positive with me" about a proton and electron. It was also the first time I was allowed to drive solo (she was my first passenger), my mom was out of town so she happily ate the frozen meals my Dad "cooked" for us, and we became inseparable. Ever since, we have had many a sleepover -- got snowed in together during Junior year, visited each other in College, my photo coach, my lifeline, and one of the few people I pick up the phone for (despite her claiming otherwise!)

Fun Fact: she knows Beyonce better than you know your own parents

Johanna Obenda
Bridesmaid

Jab We Met: I remember meeting while in 6th grade Geography (shout out Coach Ewing) and not really liking each other all that much #frenemies. We also had gym class together and eventually became big fans of scary movies in the theater, middle school basketball tournaments, and trips to the mall wearing matching puffer vests.

Favorite Memory: "All-Star Basketball camp," the high school basketball locker room and the day AFTER we decided to quit (finally showing up to second-period not drenched in sweat), Wingstop and Greek, and our hilarious summer in DC (let's never Kayak ever again). I have only ever had you to discuss the RHOBH/RHOD/RHONY drama with because you and I know those shows are for real. Hands down my favorite moments with her are the times we stay silent wondering if the other person is thinking the same things, only to realize we are in fact ALWAYS on the same page.

Fun Fact: she and I can't go anywhere without being asked if we are sisters & we stopped correcting people a long time ago

Khushi Singh
Bridesmaid

Jab We Met: we've been friends since we were little babies but earliest memory is probably our first dance together at RANA to Maya Yashoda

Favorite memory: Khushi has visited me in DC and Boston and she is the only person who's never tired of walking the entire city (just like me) and only wants to walk to every popular food spot in each city (also just like me). The two of us will drive any distance if your food is instagram hyped and even mildly tasty

Fun Fact: she can and will watch every single Bollywood movie that is released, she will also convince you each and every Bollywood movie made is worth watching (rotten tomato any and all recommendations)

Kiersten Herrera
Bridesmaid

Jab We Met: my earliest memory of us is sitting at circle time together gabbing away in the Yellow Room in Montessori

Favorite memory: Kiki was truly there for so many of my "firsts" --first leap into a pool for swimming lessons, the first time on a balance beam, getting me to go into our first haunted house at the Medieval Fair -- you name it we did it together. Absolute favorite memory is winning 2nd place at the Destination Imagination Global Championship together.

Fun Fact: Kiki and I were so inseparable that we even convinced her family to move in next door to us. We used to eat breakfast together every morning, had the same piano teacher, the same gymnastics coach, and waited to read each Harry Potter book together at the midnight releases.

Lexie Bayles
Bridesmaid

Jab We Met: we were such babies in third grade but one of my first memories with her is of her "spa night" birthday party in Third Grade, all hand crafted by her mom. It was the coolest birthday party I had been to yet and every year the tradition for an ultimate sleepover just grew stronger

Favorite Memories: getting dressed up in all black and taking pictures before asking for permission to go tee-peeing with toilet paper...30 minutes later and we're watching you get tackled by a stranger into my neighbor's lawn and Veronica thinking it was Marissa who knocked you out.

Fun Fact: Lexie has read any and all novels turned movies before you knew they were going to be a hit -- she also will humor my bad taste in rom coms without complaint!

Maria Hernandez
Bridesmaid

Jab We Met: our mandatory "meet your tank mates" session during the first week of medical schoool....little did we know what was in store!

Favorite memories: We have spent more time together in the past three years than I have with anyone else. Whether studying ("how does the patient present?....dead?") or running toward a locked door in panic while trying to avoid our surgery attending on the wards, driving through literal high water from LBJ, or developing a reputation for always being together "gabbing away" I don't think I could have called med school fun without this girl

Fun Fact: she pretends like she'll eventually try going to Torchy's but three years in and a million and one tests later, we ALWAYS go to Velvet taco

Marissa Coday
Bridesmaid

Jab We Met: honestly, I can't remember not being friends with her so I will just stick to sometime on the playground in third grade

Favorite memories: playing American Idol on the playground at recess, getting in trouble for talking in our fourth grade classroom but knowing Mrs. Teed loved us anyway, sleepovers at your house on the air mattresses and waking up to bacon and heart shaped waffles from Mama Coday, every time we went on an adventure that involved me you and chick-fil-a, the night you and I fought in the parking lot and then made up because we were both hungry and wanted iHOP

Fun fact: this girl used to throw shot put, played golf, and also dislocated her shoulder enough times that she taught me how to pop it back into place (came in handy in med school)

Moeko Nagatsuka
Bridesmaid

Jab we Met: I remember thinking she was a cool kid but excited she let me sit at her table in Physics I sophomore Fall

Favorite memories: Moeko was the trendy New Yorker to my country Texan ways. She schooled me on Physics by day and hip brands by night. We spent our days studying in Perkins, and soon became inseparable. Whether we were spending our days at Mirecourt, getting into shenanigans with class council (Blue & White Dinner #neverforget), or just spending our time talking at Erwin Terrace while we were basically neighbors and imagining being med students together, we're always only one text away or one embarrassing insta video selfie away.

Fun Fact: she has more dance training and experience than anyone I know -- she also has a fun highlight reel of her dance career that she has tucked away on YouTube somewhere

Natalie Coday
Bridesmaid
Jab We Met: Third grade LEAP with Mrs. Skinner and the rest is history! Our little kick squad turned poopie pals started off with chasing each other on the playground and is about to get ready to start chasing our own little ones around on their playgrounds when Baby Jackson gets here in June!

Favorite Memories: Natalie and I knew each other's phone numbers by heart (land lines of course) and would call each other's phones incessantly to check in and see when the other was getting around to their math homework for the night. We would then check our answers with each other and take turns each night on who had to ask their respective Dad for long-winded explanations to tougher questions (a surprise to nobody, our dads are also besties). In middle school, she also had to piggy back my limp body up a hill from the track because I passed out after "running" an TWELVE minute MILE (she on the other hand went on to become a state champ in cross country by high school), needless to say she's always had my back

Fun Fact: Natalie is the first of our little squad to be having a baby! She has been working on the front lines of COVID as an ER nurse in San Diego throughout her pregnancy and we are so proud of her!
Niki Khanderia
Bridesmaid

Jab We Met: the night before medical school officially started, she and I were up messaging each other about all the questions we had about orientation.

Favorite memories: Niki and I had a PBL group together during our first year of medical school. While we all would collectively groan about classes we had to show up in person for, we never complained about this one because we would always stay after class and gab away for hours before finally heading home. For the past three years though, the only place you'll find us is at Shiv Sagar sharing five entrees and two plates of chaat with two straws in one mango lassi!

Fun Fact: she and I have probably seen every romcom in the world twice over --including the Bollywood ones

Priya Rajawat
Bridesmaid

Jab We Met: the day she first came to Dallas as a little baby, Utkarsh and I felt so grown up and protective of this little baby. She was the cutest baby girl in our whole family!

Favorite memories: When Priya was maybe 2-3 years old, Utkarsh and I had taken her outside of the house in Yardley, PA to push her around in a stroller. We were proud of how we could "babysit" her all on our own, that is until a tiny dachshund dog came running toward us. Utkarsh and I quickly sprinted away from the dog (and consequently left baby Priya who was stuck in a stroller with the dog) and hid inside. A few moments later, Mausaji realized what happened and ran to grab Priya away from the dog.

Fun Fact: she started asking me for help with her middle school math homework (she was already taking Pre-Calculus as an 8th grader) and I was recently demolished by Duke's Intro Calculus class. Needless to say, she actually ended up helping me with my homework instead!

Priya Singh
Bridesmaid

Jab We Met: Before we were babies! This girl and I have been together since we were in diapers (aka Chaddi Buddies)

Favorite Memories: my entire childhood consisted of waiting for weekends so I could see Priya at a family friend party or RANA event. She and I were a packaged deal! From wreaking havoc at RANA campouts, to choreographed dances (she was the dancer, I was merely along for the ride), epic sleepovers for her birthday party where I got to hangout with her cool older friends or our road trip across India with my dad to eat Bajare ki Roti and Bathua Saag (still...what!?!), she has been with me for every occasion big or small since the day we were in diapers.

Fun Fact: Priya and I both are very in love with our little nephews and on any given day you can catch us jamming out to Baby Shark in our pajamas with our little nuggets!

Ramya Ramachandran
Bridesmaid

Jab We Met: Ramya and I met through Priya and first started hanging out while trying to choreograph a dance for Priya's 16th birthday party. Ramya is a born dancer and I was born with two left feet. So, while she never could teach me more than two consecutive steps, she did become one of my closest and life-long friends!

Favorite Memories: Her quite literally laughing her way through our dance together at Didi's wedding....it was yet another occasion where I quickly fell behind her and tried to just move in the same general direction as her on stage. We also got to spend a summer in DC together in 2015 -- from my crazy roommates, to coming back to my building and climbing the stairs during a power outage, to her driving on backroads for me and avoiding multiple deer, to her helping me shower because I broke my elbow on the Lincoln memorial, to our fun weekend trip to NYC -- this girl and I can pick up right where we leave off whether it's over a phone call or a weekend trip!

Fun Fact: She is Dance Co-Director for the SAPAN Institute and lives the ultimate dream of sharing her passion for dance with the community at large!

Raya Islam
Bridesmaid

Jab We Met: I had heard hilarious stories about Raya before she even stepped foot on campus, but we first met during her O-Week at Duke when she and Nammu met as baby freshmen.

Favorite Memories: Raya makes you feel at home from the moment you meet her. Whether it's learning she and I both hate when people wear their outside clothes on their beds, or spending hours just chatting about our lives -- she takes genuine interest in all parts of my life -- letting me and V$ crash her & Nammu's dorm room and wreak havoc, celebrating Rayentines day every year, watching the Natty Championship together, or getting to spend time with her and her incredible family, especially Aunty (they like matching t-shirts as much as we do), or touring NOLA with her (she knows how to skip the line for Beignets!) --- Raya has been fam since day 1!

Fun Fact: She is not only an incredibly smart Engineer, this girl does everything she can for supporting more women in STEM -- she's also Neeraj's favorite aunty, she knows the way to his heart is Baby Shark

Roshni Jain
Bridesmaid

Jab We Met: Brownstone Rush my freshman year!  Roshni and I became friends almost the instant we met. Something about our faces must scream Bollywood Fanatic because as soon as I knew she had an opinion on Anushka Sharma's lip job, I knew we were meant to be.

Favorite Memories: The summer after my freshman year we got to spend the summer together in Durham -- watching Bollywood movies, eating chaat, and generally participating in our usual gupshup about life. We bonded over everything from being the younger sister to our Didis, both being pre-med, getting to sleep on her futon every Thursday morning after my 8:30 lectures and always going on dates to Cary to see the newest Bollywood movies on the big screen (her in dressy casual, of course, and me always in some version of a hoodie and pajamas). Every time I got knocked down by an Orgo test or needed someone to brighten my day, Roshni was there for me no matter what. Our favorite date together had to have been watching Khoobsurat together -- RAAMSEVAK!!!

Fun Fact: Roshni and I stayed up all night during #SonamKiShaadi and waited to insta each other all the different outifts and celebrity appearances.

Sarah Stancyzk
Bridesmaid
Jab We Met: when I was locked out of my dorm room by my roommate the first week of freshman year, Sarah offered me a place to sleep...little did she know I would be sleeping there on her air mattress (in a room already only meant for 1 person) for majority of the year!

Favorite Memories: One of my first times being a big kid in college, I went out with Sarah for Halloween -- I remember I got excited for my first themed party and came down in my full Harry Potter Robes and matching Knit sweater and scarf and that was one of the first (and definitely not the last times) I heard Sarah say "awww Deeta." After spending the first year of college laughing through every James Giles had to offer, battling Organic Chemistry, attending more basketball games than library study sessions, Sarah and I also got to spend so much time together our first Summer in Durham. This girl is a champion in more ways than one and what she has accomplished and conquered all while being an incredible friend and constant source of laughter is unmatched!

Fun Fact: She plays the Bassoon like a PRO, is from the land of true Buffalo Wings (still haven't made it up there to try them yet!) and she is officially a NICU nurse at Duke!
Shalini Subbarao
Bridesmaid

Jab We Met: Her freshman year after she and Nammu became besties (apparently she had been eyeing Namita for a while and made the move to friendship in the most Shallu of ways)

Favorite Memories: one of the first times I really remember thinking "who is this girl" is when Shallu chipped her front tooth because she decided to try juggling pool table balls in a dorm common room. That kind of quirk coupled with her innate ability to just stare at an open Organic chemistry textbook and suddenly know all of the material is a part of her charm. Over the last 7 years, Shallu and I have had hilarious road trips to Myrtle and Savannah, an unforgettable NYE in NOLA, and tons of Lolli nights in Durham with memories I wouldn't trade for anything! And special shoutout to this girl for caving in to my long walks during QuaranDREAMteam weeks -- from buying me my emergency coffee to binging All American, this girl is a ride or die

Fun Fact: Shallu enjoys pretzels

Veronica Montgomery
Bridesmaid
Jab We Met: Our earliest pictures together are on a soccer field (an unnatural habitat for us both) when we were both 4 years old and on the Comets soccer team together. I used to play with dirt and chase butterflies and Veronica would cry if the ball hit her -- basically a match made in heaven

Favorite Memories: I literally don't know where to start. From day one, this girl has had me stuck to her like glue. Whether it was on the playground or elementary school LEAP, I wanted to be friends with her (it didn't help that for every million words I would say, she would say two when we were younger but when the teacher wasn't looking, she was just as chatty!). We have been each other's biggest rivals in school (keeping close tabs on who got a 98 vs a 99 in Mr. Willard's class -- that's a joke I never got 98s in his class), to celebrating each other biggest when she got into MIT, to visiting each other in college, to traveling the world (making a full circle of it together), to seeing my family with her in India and getting to tour around the "godi ladki," to driving up highway 1 together (note, I drove she simply could not), to being lucky enough to have someone as kind, loving, and always staying connected by phone or snail mail, this girl is 22 years worth of the best kind of friend!

Fun fact: She is a salsa dancing extraordinaire!
Namita Kansal
Best Woman

Jab we met: My number one since day one! The moment I saw my mom holding her I instantly realized I was the luckiest 2 year old who just got a best friend! Inseparable in the best and most literal way.

Favorite memory: From riding around in our toy car for hours, to our I-nite debut to Bole Chudiyaan, to tag-teaming the greatest student council underdog win (shoutout bouncy balls), to our first time together on Duke’s campus when you were still just a high school freshman, to growing with our Dhamaka fam and sharing the stage again and again, to celebrating getting into med school (shoutout futon), to the most epic 21st birthday (shoutout Amit), to one of the greatest games of True American (shoutout Kurren), to the most insanely fun solo India trip, to dodging all the 3 year olds on Angel’s Landing, to being able to just roll down the street into your apartment…I can’t imagine any of it without her!

Fun fact: her karaoke song of choice is ‘Ain’t no Mountain High Enough’, she reads the endings of movies before watching them, her fave ice cream flavor has been chocolate chip cookie dough for 25 years, and in elementary school she was so good at basketball that the other teams literally had a play called ‘Namita’ on defense

Kurren Mehta
Best Man

Jab we met: Dhamaka tryouts freshman year was the first time we locked eyes, but we really hit the ground running with freshman year homecoming

Favorite memory: Co-hosting Awaaz was so insane, I still can’t believe we pulled all those all-nighters but totally worth it, our videos are the GOAT no cap. Co-captaining the team, taking us to Blowout junior year, winning our last comp together is something I’ll always be proud of. Winning the Natty and all the times we’ve sang Cascada together in Cameron. Getting calmly escorted out of a Vegas casino. All of these are amazing but by far the thing I’m most thankful for is being his roommate. Celebrating med school acceptances, re-watching ALL of GoT with me, getting obsessed with Catan together, playing with fire alarms…too many amazing memz

Fun fact: he’s a rapper first, doctor second…an OG member of 919 prodigy, with the hit single “Imma get it”: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sk7hDZ97rRQ

Rajiv Shenoy
Groomsman

Jab we met: On the Border lunch, him and Didi meeting “Gulgul’s friend” for the first time!

Favorite memory: I couldn’t think of a more perfect place to ask Deets to marry me than Jiju and Didi’s backyard, with friends and family ready to come out and create such a special night. It was absolutely perfect! Hanging out just the two of us in Durham, sharing fro-yo, and getting insanely good life advice was really special to me too. And of course, celebrating Orca in Vegas, with so many friends, in LEBRON’S championship suite will forever be one of the coolest things we’ll ever do!

Fun fact: he has the MOST incredible MJ story (so jealous)

Amit Agarwal
Groomsman

Jab we met: it was early in high school, through the McLean kids and on the YMCA courts, and just mad I didn’t meet him sooner

Favorite memory: Senior year, Amit tells us a guy from school’s parents are out and he’s throwing a party. It was my first (and pretty sure only) real high school party and I was really excited and definitely nervous! Amit could have easily drifted to his other friends at the party, but he stuck by my side, introduced me to everyone, and made sure I had so much fun. He’s always the papa bear of the group (shoutout Nammu’s 21st) and I can’t imagine any party without him.

Fun fact: the most diehard Kanye fan you’ll meet

Varisht Aggarwal
Groomsman

Jab we met: I’ve seen him grow from just days old Vashtu into a college kid now! Time really flies!

Favorite memory: From holding him as the cutest baby to dancing the night away at Imperfecto, it’s been so amazing watching him grow the whole way. He’s the little brother all of us adore, tease, love, and can’t wait to see. And now, I feel so lucky that he’s made his way to the States and is a college kid on the same coast!

Fun fact: sneaky good at Fifa, but adorably clueless at every other game

Yash Bajaj
Groomsman

Jab we met: big fam reunion when we were kids and got to share our college campus for 5 years!

Favorite memory: I’m so grateful he chose to come to Duke and then loved it so much he stayed an extra year for a Masters! From sharing Dhamaka, to pigging out at Cucciolo, to seeing him and Deets bond so quickly, to binging Dating Around in one night straight, to following @cheekycurrymafia, these past few years have been amazing!

Fun fact: had the realest fake wedding in college and he’s a Tinder ambassador

Ashu Goel
Groomsman

Jab we met: we’ve been friends since we were kids, grew up together, went to the same high school, and he’s another one of the summer chem crew

Favorite memory: I watched my first super bowl ever, 2001 Pats v. Rams, right next to Ashu on his couch. We were jumping up and down and screaming at the tv together, and my TB12 love started with a bang. Growing up, we spent so many Thanksgivings at the Goel house, and being with Ashu and his family was always so much fun especially giving thanks one by one and playing football in his backyard!

Fun fact: we were on the same rowing team freshman year!

Gaurish Gwalani
Groomsman

Jab we met: his freshman year Dhamaka tryout…somehow he had a birthday cake waiting for him on the first day of practice because he knew half the team already

Favorite memory: Ok, so we’re in Nola the day before NYE, walking back after a long day out and we’re exhausted. All plans are to turn in early but somehow…we end up at SNEAKY PETE’S, homage to THE Pistol Pete! From starting very spirit forward (I blame him entirely), to seeing the bouncer take his job a little too seriously, to ending at Fatima’s Bakery, to somehow turning it into a 7am night…that’s absolutely one of my favorite memories. Always ready to make a crazy night, the ultimate hype man.

Fun fact: he’s a certified bartender but more importantly got a 100% on his AP Econ exam (probably still on his resume)

Ankit Kapoor
Groomsman

Jab we met: it all started at Kilmer Middle and really took off with the summer chem crew

Favorite memory: Our trip to Jamaica will forever remain one of the most insane, fun, and hilarious trips I’ve ever taken. The lazy afternoon at the pool, the jetski, the “farm,” and coming back to our room…couldn’t be scripted any better. Deciding to do AP Stat on what was definitely a whim and definitely an excuse to just sleepover for a week. Somehow the two of us actually decided to do freshman football (both with unfortunate ends lol). And can’t forget…AK BABYYY.

Fun fact: his 3-point shooting is Allen-esque…Ray Allen or Tony Allen is up for debate

Gaurav Kumar
Groomsman

Jab we met: his freshman year Dhamaka tryout, but I’m pretty sure he was looking for the Bollywood team

Favorite memory: I randomly texted him one night in January his freshman year and told him to come over, no real reason. It was like a Tuesday or something I was settling into senioritis and didn’t expect a busy freshman to come on a weekday night. But he came over so fast and we stayed up all night playing games, getting late night food, and spilling nacho cheese. And that’s been the story ever since whether Miami, NYE in NYC, or the infamous night in apt 37. Classic G, always down to have a good time.

Fun fact: he was on Bollywood America and is deathly afraid of celebrating Holi

Akhil Kumar
Groomsman

Jab we met: one of the first people I ever met visiting Dallas, a brother from another mother!

Favorite memory: After the proposal, we started playing music in the living room. People were a little nervous to start, kind of looking around, waiting for everyone to get into it. Suddenly, Akhil comes through, pulls me to the dance floor and we just let loose! People burst out laughing, joined us, and the party was on!

Fun fact: the only one who cried with Gulgul at her graduation (the rest of us just laughed)

Neeraj Maheshwari
Groomsman

Jab we met: big fam reunion when we were kids and the rest is history!

Favorite memory: No matter how long it has been since we last saw each other, we never skip a beat. I remember seeing him after a few years at the annual Maheshwari convention. And it didn’t even take a full song before the two of us were bumping booties on the dance floor and singing at the top of our lungs!

Fun fact: he has the cutest baby pups!

Jason Miller
Groomsman

Jab we met: first time was definitely freshman football (but he actually stuck it out) and then summer chem crew!

Favorite memory: So, we just finish an epic trip to Vegas and everyone’s heading back home. A couple of us got the cheaper, later flights though so had to hang around the hotel until the evening. To this day, I truly have no idea how we spent 9 hours at that Venetian brunch. We must have buffet’d 8 times, and we laughed so hard over the dumbest stuff, it somehow was actually sad when we had to finally leave!

Fun fact: greatest salsa dancer who never took salsa lessons

Avinash Moondra
Groomsman

Jab we met: Dhamaka freshmen together!!

Favorite memory: Avi brought the most hilarious long, dirty blond wig to our Nach ke Dikha competition at W&M our senior year. After the competition, we’re at our hotel room getting a little too loud and get calmly escorted out of the hotel. We’re trying to find Avi…and we finally hear him coming out of the bathroom, has his WIG ON, looks at the owner in our room, and just starts laughing! We also took the most fun trip to Mexico City, and had THE best day party (and impromptu postgame) at Xochimilco with a ton of new friends!

Fun fact: a world traveler in the truest sense…40+ countries. The stories are endless!

Roneil Rumberg
Groomsman

Jab we met: we had IBET together freshman year high school and then summer chem crew!

Favorite memory: It’s our last day in Europe, we’re in Amsterdam, and we go into this club. Right away we’re hit with a wave of sweat from the mosh pit in front of us, a raging rapid techno beat, and strobes everywhere. All of us are just standing there stunned…but we look over and see Roneil going absolutely nuts, rocking out on his own, and trying to drag us into the mosh pit! We knew he was a dancer, just had to find the right music.

Fun fact: he’s cofounded two successful startups and he gave his employees time off for this wedding!!

Sid Sethi
Groomsman

Jab we met: has to be freshman year high school bhangra bash, inite prep and, you guessed it, the summer chem crew

Favorite memory: ILMUNC 2010 was one for the ages, especially sharing the hotel room with the boys and waking Ashu up to a very different scene than he slept to. We somehow thought doing bhangra to Fireman was the coolest thing back in the day. Keeping the boys together at sleepovers no matter what the cost (rip exercise room). Getting calmly escorted out of Cheatcodes 30 seconds in. Sharing the stage at Blowout.

Fun fact: he left Greek life for the Bhangra life and hasn’t looked back since
