WHAT IS A ROOM BLOCK?

This means Morgan and Andy have paid a deposit to pre-reserve rooms for their wedding group. They signed a contract with the resort and have committed to a specific number of rooms. Only rooms booked with Tropical Sun Vacations count toward this contract.

WHAT DOES "ALL-INCLUSIVE" MEAN?

Food, drinks (yes, alcohol too!), room service, entertainment, and activities are included in the room rate.

WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY ROOM?

ASAP!

We have reserved a certain number of rooms for our guests under our room block. If all of the rooms become reserved, then our travel agent will have to request additional rooms from the resort which are subject to availability and pricing at the time of the request.

Room reservation deposits are due no later than Wednesday, December 4, 2024, but we recommend booking as soon as possible.

HOW MANY NIGHTS SHOULD I STAY?

A minimum of 3 nights is required at the resort for our wedding.

Guests are encouraged to take advantage of the group rate and make a vacation out of it. Stay a few extra days and enjoy the sandy beaches of Cancun, Mexico. Our group rate is valid from June 24, 2025 - July 1, 2025.

HOW DO I BOOK A ROOM?

Please book your room using the link below.

By submitting a reservation form and booking through our travel agent, you are securing space within our exclusive room block as a guest of our wedding.

IS THERE A PAYMENT PLAN OPTION?

Yes! You have the option of making payments through our travel agent until the final payment due date.

An initial non-refundable deposit of $150.00 per person is due by Wednesday, December 4, 2024.

Final payment is due Wednesday, February 12, 2025.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE PRICING?

The rates listed are PER PERSON and include:

• Resort accommodations
• All-inclusive meal plan – also includes all beverages including alcohol
• Roundtrip private transportation between the airport and resort
• Taxes & fees
• Optional travel insurance is available to protect your investment

WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY FLIGHT?

Please book your flight at any point but no later than Wednesday, May 7, 2025.

Flight information is due to our travel agent, Tricia, by May 7th, so please forward her your flight confirmation email as soon as you book your flight - tricia@tropicalsunvacations.com. If this information is not provided by the deadline, you will incur a late fee.

WHAT DOCUMENTS ARE NEEDED?

All guests will be required to have a valid, non-expired US passport book (NOT a passport card).

WHEN SHOULD I GET A PASSPORT?

ASAP!!

Current processing times are 6 to 8 weeks for standard and 2 to 3 weeks for expedited (extra fee). Be sure to allow yourself enough time to apply/renew your passport.

I WILL BE SHARING A ROOM WITH ANOTHER GUEST, HOW DOES THAT WORK?

Please coordinate with your roommate and designate ONE person to fill out the reservation form. Reservation forms should be one per room, not one per person. If you and your roommate live at different addresses, please make sure to include the second passenger’s personal information including their email address, phone number, and home address.

SHOULD I BUY TRAVEL INSURANCE?

We highly advise all travelers to purchase travel insurance. It is the traveler's responsibility to purchase protection. By not purchasing insurance, your investment will not be protected against cancellations.

Life is unpredictable and plans can change. The cost of insurance is based on the cost of your room plus your age. Tricia will provide you with a quote based on your specific trip details.

If you choose not to purchase insurance, there are no refunds should your plans change. Without insurance, you will also not have any medical coverage for mishaps or catastrophic events. Your US health insurance will likely not provide coverage internationally.

WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL?

We really hope you can make it, but if something comes up please refer to the following cancellation terms:

If you cancel ON OR BEFORE February 12, 2025, there is no penalty (please note the initial deposit of $150.00 per person is non-refundable).

If you cancel ON OR AFTER February 13, 2025, all payments are 100% non-refundable (this is why we strongly encourage travel insurance).

Is there a dress code?

It is important to us that are guest are comfortable and dressed for hot temperatures!


Dresses- Long or short are both acceptable. Any color or summer patterns are welcomed! Please avoid wearing white.


Tops- Guest are welcomed to wear short or long sleeves, but please make sure it is still a dress shirt.


Bottoms- Dress pants, linen pants


Please avoid jeans, flip flops, or beach clothes. This event is a formal event, it will not take place on the beach/sand.
