The couple is considered married after the Laavan (vows) when they circle the Guru Granth Sahib four times.
Doli- The doli ritual is the final phase of the Sikh wedding. This is when the bride’s parents and relatives bid their farewells to the new couple as they start their married life.
Semi - Formal / Traditional Indian Attire
Guests will be asked to cover their heads with a scarf and remove their shoes before entering the prayer hall. During a Sikh service, everyone sits on the floor, symbolizing the equality of all people in the eyes of God. Please dress comfortably to sit on the floor.
