How to Get to Lake Como:
Closest major city to Lake Como is Milan. From Milan airport (MXP), you can take a taxi to Hotel Sheraton. Taxis (sedans and vans) are available outside the terminal. The drive is about 45 minutes to Hotel Sheraton.
Inexpensive route: Train from Milan to Como Lago Station and take a taxi or ferry from there to the hotel. Total travel time 90-120 minutes.

Should you need anything during your stay, there is a convenience / grocery store (Gran Mercato) next door with a cafe, L'Essenza Caffetteria di Como.
Ferry
Hop on/off ferry is the best way to see the towns along Lake Como. The ferry stop near the Sheraton Hotel is Travernola dock - about a 5 min walk. The hotel concierge can provide a ferry schedule and a map.
