Tokyo guide!
Japan rail pass
For those of you who will visit Japan for the first time, and thinking of sneaking a little travel around the country. I strongly recommend you to pre-buy the Japan rail pass. It allows you to take all the bullet trains and JR (Japan rail is the overground ) This is really great as you can pretty much visit anywhere in Japan with this pass! (expect for Okinawa and the islands etc ) To give you an idea, from Tokyo to Kyoto is abt 130USD one way. Therese little rules etc so please have a read on the website!!
Its worth it I promise
Could be the cheapest one you find, super small pocket size or just a book specific to Ramen in Tokyo. When visiting a city you might find a moment of free time, and the book will help. Always buy the newest one. Usually they explain most of how the city works, and different districts etc. Also travel loved places I might not know. I'm here to help your travels, let me know if you are interested in a place or an area!!
Imperial Palace
I personally find this place beautiful. and the surrounding area is very nice. Its about 5km to go around. You can access easily from Tokyo station. I suggest you book to visit the inside!
Meiji Jingu Gaien
By the time you will visit Tokyo, the whole city will be glowing in golden Ginko trees. Its really beautiful. We have few parks within the city, and its worth a trip to also see the burning red Japanese maples as well.
