We met in prep school!!

Me fresh off the boat from the UK back in 2001, we attend the same boarding school in Vermont.

We were in the same math class!

While Nick spent his time doing all the work for us, I was busy doodling hearts on his textbook

I was utterly smitten!!

Nick, sadly didn’t show how much he loved me being the once jock-ish guy and all back then. But, me shamelessly stalking him at the hockey rink, sneaking in to the library to spend time with him while he “research” for his paper, and all the AOL love messages made us today.

So... How did we get here?

Well... As most of you guys heard, we decided, after almost 15 years of being apart from each other, it will be a good idea to skip all the “normal stuff” and get married. Because for us, it felt natural to do so.

We were walking in the woods looking for ice to break with this amazing stick we found.

and it went down like this;

Nick: “Hey, so.. wanna get married?”

Me: “ya, sounds great”

We obviously had to google how to, where to etc and few drama of announcing, and preparing....

We actually had a “wedding”

With great support from amazing family members and friends, we managed to put together a cozy ceremony on November 27th in Vermont. So this “thing” we are inviting you are more of a “Tying the family together “ ceremony.

Please join us!

So please join us to celebrate two families tying knots. If will be a simple modest traditional Japanese Shinto ceremony.

For those of you don’t know what Shinto is, this quick video might help you understand. For us it’s not really a religion but more of way of life and respect to nature.
