UPDATE: Please note, due to limited parking at the church, we are providing transport for all guests between the venue and the church on the day of the wedding.

Please aim to arrive at Middleton Lodge Estate no later than 12:30pm, where a bus will take you to the church, as well as run all guests back to the reception venue following the ceremony. 

Our Wedding Day celebrations will be held in Middleton Tyas, a beautiful, quaint village near Richmond, North Yorkshire.

The village of Middleton Tyas is located just off the A1 at Scotch Corner, just 45 minutes from Harrogate, approx. 1 hour 10 from Leeds or Ilkley, and approx. 1 hour 20 minutes from Bradford.

The market town of Richmond is around 10 minutes south and Darlington (which has a direct rail link to London) is 15 minutes north.

The nearest airports are Leeds Bradford Airport and Newcastle Airport which are both around 1 hour away by car.

We have arranged for the local taxi company to transport our guests back to their accommodation at the end of the evening. You don’t need to pre-book, they will be ready for you on the night at reasonable rates.

However if you require any taxi services during the day of the wedding, or require transport at a specific time, you can pre-book this directly with them.

There are a number of accommodation options available via websites such as Booking.com or Airbnb, but here are just a couple of nearby options.

There are a number of rooms available on the Middleton Lodge Estate, the location of our Reception.

Located 10 minutes away is the beautiful Rockliffe Hall, luxury golf and spa hotel. 

The Bannatyne Hotel is located approx. 15 minutes drive from the venue, located just on the edge of Darlington city centre. 

Positioned within easy access of the A1, Holiday Inn at Scotch Corner is just a 5 minute drive away.
