Sundowners on the Bushtracks Express

This is a timeless experience on a vintage steam train. The Bushtracks Express is a luxury excursion normally offered to tourists as a fine dining experience. We have secured it exclusively for our wedding celebration.

Tickets are US$40 per person, this includes drinks and snacks  - Please note this event is not compulsory. 

16H30 - Train launch from The Victoria Falls Hotel 

19H00 - Return to the Victoria Falls Hotel 

19H15 - Casual walk to The River Brewery

In town early? We just can't wait to see you! Please join us for a get together at 'our' River Brewing Company. 

PLEASE NOTE

This is an adults only event. We kindly ask that there be no children at the ceremony and reception.
Our Ceremony

14H30 - Transfers to the wedding jetty site depart from Victoria Falls Safari Lodge reception area. For those who don't have their own wheels please email meg.conn@outlook.com to book your spot on the bus.

14H45 - Boat boarding time.

Jetty site TBC.

15H00 - Boat departs for the ceremony site.

Please be punctual, there is only one chance to board the boat. Don’t be late and get left behind!

15H30 - The Ceremony

Reception

16H30 - Sunset Boat Cruise

All back on board the boat for departure from the ceremony site to enjoy a delightful golden hour cruise down the beautiful Zambezi river, bound for the reception venue.

18H00 - Reception (party time)

22H00 - First return bus will depart the reception venue for Victoria Falls Safari Lodge (Transfers thereafter will be arranged. Details to follow.)
Dress Code

Smart attire.


Weather - Expect a warm day & a chilly night.


Please note: The ceremony and reception will be outdoors on uneven ground. We encourage you to wear whatever footwear you find suitable, but heels are not recommended.

Time to refresh and revitalise. Feel free to drop by for some TLC and love from the newlyweds.

Open to everyone. Even if you're just popping in to say farewell before your flight, we hope you join us!  

We will be having brekkie at the Boma (Victoria Falls Safri Lodge). Fell free to join us for a coffee :D
