Michelle and Filipe's love story is one for the books. They met in May of 2016 at a party where they were introduced by a mutual friend. With a few drinks and lots of dancing, they quickly hit it off and by the end of the night, Michelle saved her number in Filipe's phone as "Michelle Future Wife." Little did she know that one day they would actually make it official.
The two were inseparable from that moment on and started dating soon after. In 2018, Filipe decided to take some time to travel and explore the world, but even though they were apart, their love never wavered. After eight months of traveling, Filipe knew where his heart truly belonged and came back to South Africa to be with Michelle.
In September of 2019, the couple decided to take their relationship to the next level and move in together. The time they spent together during the COVID-19 pandemic only strengthened their bond and they even adopted a furry companion named Oliver.
April of 2021 was a special month for the couple, as Filipe proposed to Michelle on her birthday in a truly intimate and romantic way. He even included their beloved cat Oliver in the proposal. Since then, the couple has travelled to many beautiful places in South Africa, with some of their favourites being Clarens and Plettenberg Bay.
Filipe's work took them to Malta in March of 2022, and since then they have been able to travel to Germany, UK, Madeira, Portugal, and Italy. Their love of travel and adventure is one of the things that brought them together and they can't wait to see where their future together will take them.
