Michelle's Boo for almost 9 years. Introduced to one another by Tiffany's husband (the Best Man, Robert), they became quick friends. They have done countless sleepovers, conventions, parties, bad decisions, teary nights, and thrilling nights. Michelle was a bridesmaid in her wedding in 2015. Tiffany is not only Michelle's great friend, she and her husband were Billy's roommates. Tiffany is a great planner and professionally trained in wedding planning as well. No one better to help Michelle with the wedding as Maid of Honor.
Jackie is Michelle's longest partner in crime. Friends since the 3rd grade, bunked together at 6th grade camp, attended all the same schools, Miller, Walker, Kennedy, and Cypress. In college, Jackie and Michelle would go clubbing together every weekend at Downtown Fullerton and finish the night at Denny's restaurant, always laughing and recounting the nights events. Jackie and Michelle were roommates and to this day still have the occasional wine and movie sleepovers. Jackie has always been Michelle's most fiercest defender and voice of reason.
Erika is Michelle's cousin and the only other crazy cat lady in the family. Michelle always says that Erika has the biggest heart. She fosters all kinds of animals and is always first to volunteer to babysit, catsit, or dogsit. Erika has always had a way with children and animals. As kids they would go on family camping trips together, celebrate each others accomplishments and holidays. Erika is also super creative and stylish, she is always doing impressive dessert tables and decor for events, she is even helping with the decor and dessert table for Michelle's wedding.
Colleen and Michelle have been friends since junior high. Even though she came from a different elementary school, she was quickly absorbed into Michelle's friend group. They had lunch together almost everyday of junior high, high school, and sometimes in college. She was in theater classes with Michelle in high school, and they took theater courses together at Cypress College which they both attended till Colleen left for art school in Downtown LA. Colleen and Michelle share a great love for Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Christina Aguilera. Even though both girls moved around, they have continued to stay in touch.
Aness and Michelle have been friends since Mr. Shoemaker's class in 4th grade. Aness was the new student and Michelle was asked to show her around. They became fast friends and started to have lunch together, a tradition kept up till their high school graduation. Even while Aness attended UC Irvine, traveled, and eventually moved to San Diego, Michelle and her have always found time to get together and have brunch or dinner. Aness has always been a great motivator and cheerleader for Michelle.
Sam and Michelle met in the 3rd grade, but really got to know each other in BLOCK program and 4th grade with Mr. Shoemaker. Sam and Michelle always loved animals, and it became no surprise for Michelle when Sam became a veterinarian. Sam moved from UC Davis, to Boston, then finally to San Diego, and they still remain great friends. One of Michelle's favorite memories is traveling with Aness to UC Davis to see Sam and participate in family picnic day. Sam and Michelle have always been great supporters of one another.
Allison has been one of Michelle's best friends since high school. They both attended Kennedy, Cypress College, and Cal State Fullerton. Michelle remembers how Allison first met her husband David, and how excited she was to share all about the wonderful new man in her life. She was a bridesmaid in their wedding and celebrated with Allison the births of her three beautiful children. Allison has always been Michelle's sweetest and most positive friend.
Rebecca is Michelle's Sister-in-law, married to Michelle's brother (and Groomsman) James. She is extremely dedicated and knows how to work hard and party harder. Michelle met Rebecca when she came out to visit James for the first time. She blew Michelle away with how quickly James fell in love with her and brought out the best in him. She quickly integrated herself into the family with her fun personality and great cooking. Michelle was a bridesmaid in their wedding and now it's becca's turn to have the honor.
Billy met Robert when he first moved down to SoCal. We worked the Disneyland Railroad and Opera House together. Robert has a big heart and is incredibly thoughtful. Together we have gone on many wild adventures, ranging from the original Calico Ghost Town to driving north just to ride a new Joker themed roller coaster. Billy and Robert were roommates for 5 years and Billy was a groomsman in Robert's wedding.
Matt and Billy first met in middle school. They lived around the corner from each other, so they were always hanging out and riding their bikes around town. They used to be the same height (5'4") but then one summer Matt grew an extra 4 inches in height, now he is a giant! There will be a battle royale at the wedding to determine the "Ultimate Tall Man Title" between Matt and Michelle's brother (and Groomsman) James.
Rick and Billy work together and have been friends for nearly a decade. He's incredibly creative and enjoys cosplaying at comic conventions. Rick is a big fan of Pepsi and portrays "Pepsi-Man", the Japanese super hero used in their commercials overseas. That part isn't true, but he does enjoy the convention life.
Andrew is another Disney friend. He enjoys theme park history and is very involved with the collecting and selling of sports memorabilia, specifically baseball. He once dressed up like a superhero duck and ran around a convention hall shouting "Let's get dangerous!" He now lives in Portland with his wife.Billy and Michelle were both in Andrew's wedding in 2018
Chris is Billy's awesome brother-in-law and lives in Northern California with his family. He is a Whiskey connoisseur and always has a story to tell. His wife is a bridesmaid and his kids, Madison & Ryker, are also in the wedding.
James is Michelle's brother. They have always been very close. Billy met James at one of Michelle and James' famous Halloween parties. James and Matt will be competing for tallest groomsman, AKA the "Fight of the Giants" which will start promptly at 8 PM.
Ryker is groomsman Chris and bridesmaid Amanda's son, he is also Billy's nephew. He enjoys helping Pop Fred around the house and climbing on things. He;s always getting into trouble around the house, but luckily has a great big sister to look after him.
