We're very excited to have you join us for our wedding. We've chosen to stay at Secrets Playa Blanca an Adults Only, All-Inclusive Resort, and would encourage you to stay with us!

To make things simple, we've hired a Groups Travel Agent, Vacations By Melissa, to help our guests arrange accommodations. She has secured discounted group rates for us at the resort from Saturday November 2, 2024 - through Wednesday November 6th, 2024. (Reminder, the wedding is Monday, 11/4!)

1. Please designate only 1 person from your party make a room reservation using the form below.

2. We recommend groups of 2 reserve rooms for optimal comfort, but rooms can accommodate up to 3 guests. We've quoted prices for groups of 2 below, but a limited amount of rooms of 3 are available for Jr Suite Ocean View rooms only.

3. Bedding is a request but NOT a guarantee. In the form below, please choose 1 Bed for a King and 2 for doubles. All efforts will be made to accomodate but never guaranteed.

4. Private transportation to and from the airport are included in your booking price. No need to arrange a taxi when arriving or leaving Cancun.

5. To guarantee availability and discounted pricing, please book your room with your $150 deposit as soon as possible!

The Unlimited-Luxury® experience continues with exquisite dining options providing guests with a unique collection of gourmet à la carte restaurants and lounges plus 24-hour dining options allow guests to devour late night bites at Coco Café or stay in and order room Service. Celebrate authentic Mexican traditions and taste distinctive recipes at the upscale restaurants or listen to DJ live music at Desires Music Lounge. Nightly entertainment includes exciting live music and shows, theme parties or movies under the stars. It’s all included here at Secrets Playa Mujeres Golf & Spa Resort.

All guests from Secrets Playa Mujeres Golf & Spa Resort will have free flow access to Dreams Playa Mujeres Golf & Spa Resort located next door. With 10 additional restaurant options, 7 additional bars, 2 additional pools, a Lazy River (only for Preferred Club guests), water park and more!

Why book with Vacations By Melissa as part of our room block?
While VBM can offer competitive prices, we also offer personalized service. Anytime you have a question or concern, you will be able to contact us directly and will not have to go through a call center and speak with a different person each time.

We have a 24-hour emergency line available for our clients if there should be any flight delays or problems at the resort while traveling. Again, instead of reaching a call center, you will reach one of our in-house travel agents, who will do what they can to resolve your problem.

Most importantly, our strong relationship with the resort helps to ensure that members of Mike & Shawna's wedding party that are booked through us will not be walked and placed in another resort due to overbooking.

We recommend you book your flights as early as you can. You may book it via your favorite airline.

Since you'll be booking your room with our group, private transportation to and from the airport (CUN) is included!

Consider using miles or credit card points if you have them. If you would like information on airfare this can be requested with our agent as well. In the reservation form mark "YES" to the flight question and we can advise you of published airline rates when they become available!

*Words of Advice*
- If you arrive at the resort before check-in time, you are able to utilize all the amenities (pool, restaurants, activities, etc.). Pack a small bag with swimwear and other necessities to utilize the resort while you wait for your room.
- Please give yourself at least 24-36 hrs before the wedding day to arrive in case of delays or cancellations.

Book early and take advantage of the awesome flexible payment plan!
It is interest-free. All you have to do is submit your secure payment form online. It will give Vacations By Melissa (or our affiliates) permission to debit your Debit OR Credit Card for any amount you choose, and how often you choose.
A minimum non-refundable* deposit of $150 per person is due no later than January 16th, 2024, in order to secure your room and roundtrip airport/resort/airport transportation.
Subject to availability at the time of booking after this date.

***Final balance is due by July 17, 2024***
Reservations made after initial deposit date are subject to availability.

You will need this to board your flight and the resort will ask for it when you check-in. If you do not have a passport or need to renew it, click below.

Note: Due to Covid, processing time has increased, causing delays in passports. If you will be attending the wedding and need a first-time passport OR need to renew your passport, please do this ASAP. Without it, you will not be able to attend the wedding.
Please also check the expiration date on your current passport. It must be valid 6 months from your return date.

Rooms are reserved at a discounted rate, on a first-come, first-served basis. We will do our best to honor the discounted rate outside the 44 rooms, however, the early-booking discount is not guaranteed. The sooner you reserve with your deposit, the better.

The discounted rate is an ALL-INCLUSIVE room rate and includes roundtrip airport transfer.

If you book at a different hotel/resort, you will not be able to partake in activities leading up to the wedding and/or wedding ceremony without incurring additional fees for daily passes starting from $157+ USD just to access the event/per person.

Michael and Shawna have paid a deposit to pre-reserve rooms for your group. They have a group contract that allows them to offer additional benefits for their guests.
They kindly asks that you book your hotel within our designated group contract here at Vacations By Melissa.

We are confident in our pricing but if you were to find a cheaper “deal” outside of VBM please allow us an opportunity to review the pricing component or price match. We would like to do our best to keep family and friends consolidated at the resort for accountability.

Optional Travel Protection pricing upon request. The average cost of your travel protection is about 8% of the total trip cost. You can estimate your cost - or purchase directly from Travel Insured

Vacations by Melissa recommends Travel Protection from Travel Insured. If you have questions about the coverage , please contact them directly.

To Insure the coverage is correct, we need the STATE of every member of your party. If anyone in your room lives in a different state than you - please list that in the comments when booking.
