Passports are REQUIRED for travel into the Dominican Republic. As a general rule, passports must be valid for six months beyond the date the traveler will exit the United States.

Due to the pandemic, passport services have been taking longer than usual, and they have suspended overnight services related to passports. If your passport needs to be renewed, or if you will be getting your passport for the first time, it would be best to start that process ASAP so that if you encounter any issues you have plenty of time to sort them out. Please also note that your plane ticket must match the name on your passport EXACTLY.

We are holding a room block at the Hard Rock Punta Cana for our group! You will have to book into our room block via our Travel Agents in order to be considered as part of our group, and get the locked in rates and included transfers.

Using our Travel Agents, you will just have to put down a deposit and you can make interest-free payments however you'd like up until the final payment is due (March 1st, 2023).

Our Agents also offer travel insurance for your trip that can be added at the time of your deposit, which we highly recommend as it not only covers your vacation costs but also has post-departure coverages such as medical, baggage loss, trip interruption, etc. (Jess & Jayme will send you all of the details, inclusions, exclusions, and coverage limits if you are interested.)

You will fly into Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ) You will be able to begin booking flights for May 2023 in late July/early August.

You have round trip transfers to and from Hard Rock Punta Cana & Punta Cana Airport. Our Travel Agents, Jess & Jayme, will reserve your transfers for you once
they receive your flight information.

Additionally, if you'd like Jess & Jayme to help with your flight bookings, please let them know when they book your resort room. Their information is at the end of this document.

As of March 2022, negative COVID tests are still required for entry back into the US when traveling by plane. The test must be taken within 1 day of your travel back to the States, regardless of vaccination status. As of March 2022, Hard Rock Punta Cana includes the antigen test complimentary for guests staying 3 or more nights who are returning back to the US.
There are also specific self-tests that you can bring with you to test yourself under the supervision of a tele-health professional. (We highly recommend these - Jess & Jayme use them every time they travel internationally.) If you are interested in these, there are only a few approved tests so feel free to ask us about it and we’ll send you the list of approved tests and where you can purchase them.
Plane Travel:
As of March 2022, masks are still REQUIRED for all passengers over the age of 2. Since we are over a year away from travel, this may change in that time frame and we will keep you posted if it does.
Vaccination Status:
As of now, the Dominican Republic does not require any vaccination for COVID-19, or a negative test to enter the country.
