Woohoo! Pack your bags, we're going to Mexico! We are very excited to have you join us for our wedding weekend. To make things simple, we've hired a travel agent to help our guests arrange accommodation. We've chosen to stay at Generations Riviera Maya and have already arranged a room block for our guests. We are staying Nov. 10th - 14th but you are welcome to stay as long as you please.

Many details are below, but here are a few IMPORTANT things to note:

1. Only have 1 person from your party make a room reservation using the form below. Don't have 2 people in the same room fill out the form.

2. Generations Riviera Maya is a family friendly property and the max occupancy per room is 3 adults/2 children for one bedroom and 4 adults/4 children in a two bedroom.

3. Transportation to and from the airport are included in your booking price. No need to arrange a taxi when arriving or leaving Mexico.

4. To guarantee availability and discounted pricing, please put down your deposit with our agent as soon as possible!

To be considered part of the wedding group, you must book through the group rates and not through any other method (even directly with the hotel). We have negotiated competitive group rates and secured a room block to make this as easy as possible for our bride and groom. Additional fees will apply to visit the resort or come to wedding related events should you book off property. The pre-negotiated rates include all-inclusive hotel accommodations, hotel tax and fees, housekeeping and transfers. Room categories are available on a first come, first serve basis within the block.

• IMPORTANT: To book at these rates you are REQUIRED to stay a minimum of 3 nights.

• Rates are available 1-3 days pre/post the room block (based on availability)

• Any changes must be done in writing (via email) and changes requested after the balance due date must be paid for in full upfront before they are confirmed.

Closest airport to the resort is Cancun International Airport, (CUN).

Consider using miles or credit card points if you have them. If you would like to book your flight + hotel as a package this can be arranged with our agent as well. In the reservation form mark "YES" to the flight question and you will be contacted to verify airline and connection preferences for published rates. However, please know that airlines do not publish airfare until 8-11 months out from departure date. So there is no air available at this time for November 2023. We will start getting fares around Dec 2022/January 2023.

There is no guarantee that we have better flight prices than what you may find on your own and we cannot guarantee Generations is contracted with every airline. There may be instances when we cannot book your air if the tour operator does not have a contract with a specific airline, such as Spirit or Southwest. We are also not able to use credit card points or miles towards your flight. That would be something you would need to do on your own.

WILL I NEED A PASSPORT?
Yes! A passport is needed to fly to and from the U.S. and Mexico - please take the time now to locate your passport and check the expiration date; make sure it is valid for 6 months after your anticipated return date. I FOUND A CHEAPER PRICE ONLINE, CAN YOU MATCH IT?
We are confident in our pricing but if you were to find a cheaper “deal” outside of our contracted rates, please allow us an opportunity to review and price match. We would like to do our best to keep family and friends consolidated in the block at the resort for accountability and organization for the staff. To expedite the process, please take a dated screen shot of what you found. It must include the final total price (with all taxes and fees), what the price includes (dates and room category), the website you found it on.

DO I NEED A COVID TEST?
At this time (as of Dec 12th 2021), a COVID test is NOT required to enter Mexico but you will be required to take one before entry back to the US. This is provided right on the hotel property.

DO I NEED A VACCINE?
At this time a vaccine is not required to enter Mexico.

DOES MY INSURANCE COVER COVID OR THE PANDEMIC?
US Health Insurance does not cover international travel. We have Cancel For Any Reason Insurance that is optional for anyone who would like to add it onto their booking. Please note this insurance can only be added on at the time of initial booking. After the deposit is made it can no longer be purchased.

HOW IS THE GROUP MONITORING COVID-19?

Excellent question. As we all know, we are in unprecedented times and we understand that guests may have concerns about travel. We are all hoping for the best while monitoring this ever-changing landscape.
Of course, Melissa and Joshua would like as many people as possible to join them for this momentous occasion.

We are all beholden to the policies and procedures of the resorts and airlines. At this time, resorts are focused on those traveling in the next 90 days. They have not made any policy changes to those traveling in 2023 or beyond. In fact, 2023 dates are booking quickly as 2020 2021 groups rescheduled. We expect that inventory will continue to tighten as travelers plan their post-COVID vacations.

We are monitoring the situation closely and will be communicating with Melissa and Joshua. If travel policies change, we are ready to be nimble and work with the couple to update timelines and deadlines if necessary. Thank you!
