Our goal in picking a hotel was relatively simple- we wanted a place with natural beauty, a relaxing atmosphere, delicious food, and options for fun activities. Hotel Xcaret checks all those boxes. You can read all about the hotel on their website, places like TripAdvisor, etc.
The hotel/wedding venue is about 60 minutes from Cancun International Airport (CUN).
Cancun airport is a large, modern airport with direct flights to many major cities in the US. Hit up your google machine and find the flight that works best for you! The airport itself is easy to navigate and you'll find English signage throughout.
The hotel offers a free shuttle to/from the airport. Please make sure to provide your flight details to the hotel one week prior to arrival to reserve the shuttle.
When you land, you'll retrieve your luggage and go through customs (aduanas). Most of the time the customs process is easy and fast and the agents usually speak English. Once through customs, head outside and look for the Hotel Xcaret representatives (wearing red or pink polo shirts with the Hotel Xcaret logo). They will direct you to the free shuttle provided by the hotel. The shuttle departs the airport every 30 or so minutes though it may make a few stops at the airport to collect passengers from other terminals.
If you'd like, you can also book private transportation from the airport or use an airport taxi. The airport taxis will cost around $120 USD one way. Although keep in mind that taxis are not always air-conditioned and once you get outside the airport, there are tons of people offering all types of transportation options, tours, etc.Renting a car is another option and it's very inexpensive to do so in Mexico. If you're planning on exploring the areas outside of the hotel/parks, renting a car is a great way to get out and about. Keep in mind that the rental process is different in Mexico so if you're thinking about renting, give us a shout and we can provide some advice/information.
*The hotel is about an hour from the airport though it may a take a little longer as they sometimes pick up passengers from other airport terminals.

To reserve the room block, please email or call us as soon as possible as we need to finalize the room block by June 30th.
