Dressy Casual

The ceremony will be held outside (weather permitting) on a grass plateau. The reception will be held indoors, but with access to an outdoor space. We are in the mountains so the weather can change fairly quickly. We recommend bringing something warm in case the temperatures drop in the evening.

Calgary International Airport is a great place to arrive at as your first stop in Alberta. It is about a five hour drive to Jasper Park Lodge. However this route takes you through the Icefields Parkway, which is an absolute must see.

SunDog Tours

For those guests who are coming in from out of town via air travel there are a few options to get to Jasper.

SunDog Transportation offers bus trips from the Edmonton Airport, the Calgary Airport and even from Banff if you happen to be in that area. They will drop you off at your hotel directly in Jasper. 

The Icefields Parkway route via Calgary/Banff is a spectacular drive.

Rental vehicles are also a great option and give you some freedom to check out Jasper National Park while you are in town! Rental vehicles are available from both Calgary and Edmonton Airports. 

For anyone based more locally, we recommend the Ice Fields Parkway through Banff and Jasper Parks. Its a gorgeous drive!

The Honeymoon Fund

We know it’s traditional to write a list
But in this case there is a slight twist

Our home is complete with the usual stuff
And the things that we have are good enough
Our dream is to honeymoon in a foreign land
And to walk along the streets hand in hand

We are extremely lucky to have love, laughter and house full of furniture. So, instead of a traditional wedding registry, we have decided to establish a honeymoon fund. Contributing to our Honeymoon Fund will help pay for our trip in Summer 2023. We can’t wait to head off on our honeymoon, and we’ll be sharing lots of photos of our time.
