FAQ
Is COVID-19 vaccination required?

Yes. You must be vaccinated.

Any individual age 5 and older will be required to show proof of vaccination at the wedding venue. Bridge 410 will have staff checking proof of vaccination at the door. Please have either your paper or mobile vaccine card with you. The CDC provides information on how to get your mobile vaccine card in your state here: www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/vaccination-card.html.

There will not be any exceptions to this policy. A negative COVID-19 test will not be accepted in lieu of proof of vaccination.

What is the Dress Code?

Chicago weather can be tricky at the end of April. Bridge 410 does have an outdoor space, which we hope to use for the reception. Consider layers and flat shoes to take advantage of the outdoors.

We recommend cocktail attire for both the ceremony and reception. Think cocktail dresses, little black dresses, dressy jumpsuits, jackets and slacks.

What's the best way to get from the ceremony to the reception?

The ceremony is a short walk (half mile, 13 minutes) from the reception. Weather permitting, we plan to parade over from the church to the venue as a group, accompanied by the amazing Four Star Brass Band, so wear comfy shoes! A trolley bus will be available for those needing assistance.

Alternatively, Lyft/Uber/Public Transit are easy options for getting around on the day of the wedding.

Is there parking on-site?

Limited street parking is available at both the ceremony and the reception.

Are kids welcome?

Absolutely! Please make sure to let us know kids are coming when you RSVP.

Is there a gift registry?

We do not have a gift registry. Your attendance and well-wishes are present enough.

By when should I RSVP?

Please RSVP by April 1, 2022.

Things to Do

We love Chicago. Here are a few of our favorite ways to explore the city.

Chicago Electric Boat Company

Some of the best views of Chicago are from the river! Whether from the launch points in the Loop, or from the Rockwell Marina, we highly recommend captaining your own electric donut boat for an hour. And it's BYOB!

Address: 3057 N Rockwell Street, Chicago, IL 60618
Chicago, IL 60618

Guthrie's Tavern

One of our first dates. The walls are lined with board games making it a great spot to spend an afternoon. Ticket to Ride and Azul are great two-player options!

Address: 1300 W Addison St, Chicago, IL 60613

The Signature Lounge at the John Hancock Building

The best way to see Chicago's skyline. Skip the observation deck and grab a drink at the Signature Lounge. Enjoy the view for just the cost of a beverage.

Address: 875 N Michigan Ave, Chicago, IL 60611

Bloomingdale Trail

The Bloomingdale Trail, also known as the 606, is a retired elevated railroad track turned into a public park. Jump on the trail in the Wicker Park neighborhood, just north of Damen and Wabansia. Grab coffee at Goddess and the Grocer and enjoy a really pretty walk through a few neighborhoods.

Where to Eat

So much great food in Chicago! A few of our favorites are included below.

Tempesta Market

A weekly staple for our house. Get the meatballs!  Get the Dante! And get literally whatever their weekly special is. Sometimes they have a veggie quiche on Saturdays and those are the best days.

Address: 1372 W Grand Ave, Chicago, IL 60642

Milk & Honey

A cozy, neighborhood favorite for breakfast and brunch. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu, but the oatmeal is a surprising standout.

Address: 1920 W Division St, Chicago, IL 60622

Hoosier Mama Pie Company

Coffee with a delicious slice of sweet or savory pie. Anna's recommendation: Apple Sour Cherry or any of the breakfast handpies.

Address: 1618 W Chicago Ave, Chicago, IL 60622

Green Street Meats

Our favorite restaurant in the city. Try the pastrami, sliced brisket, elote, and broccoli salad.

Address: 112 N Green St, Chicago, IL 60607

Big Star

The best tacos around. Try the fish and papas tacos. If it's nice out, grab tacos from the to-go window and hang out on the patio. The margaritas are worth the wait inside the main restaurant.

Address: 1531 N Damen Ave, Chicago, IL 60622
