Itinerary

Please join us for some cocktails after you arrive at Meliá Punta Cana Beach! 

We have a the lobby pool area reserved for our private event offer a space for guest to mingle. There will be an open bar but please have dinner prior to the event. We will have an assortment of desserts being passed around throughout the event but no substantial food.

Dress Code

Resort Cocktail Attire

Women: Cocktail or midi dress, dressy jumpsuit; wedges, block heels or dressy sandals.

Men: Button-down with chinos or dress shorts; loafers or nice sandals.

Think elevated tropical... linen, silk, and fun colors.

Itinerary

We are hosting a welcome boat party for all wedding guests Friday, January 9th, 2026. We will be picked up from the hotel around 2:20pm and shuttled to a nearby port to board the boat. The boat event will last until about 6:00pm and will include an open bar and some light snacks. Following the event we will be transported back to the resort and expect to arrive back around 6:30pm.

Dress Code

Beach Casual

Please feel free to wear fun, beach attire to this event. No need to wear a swimsuit as we do not plan to swim/snorkel. 

Men: Linen shirts, tropical shirts, shorts, sandals are OK!

Women: Beach dresses or pants/shorts and a blouse.

Wear whatever you are comfortable with, the dress code is loose!

Transportation

Transportation will be provided to and from the boat.

Dress Code

Beach Formal

Women: Maxi dresses, cocktail dresses, or formal sundresses. Dressy sandals or wedges to complete the look. 
Men: Lightweight suits or dress pants with a button-up shirt. Ties are optional. Loafers are OK but please no sandals.

For those that are not able to make it out to Punta Cana for the wedding, we have coordinated with a spectacular team to have our ceremony live streamed! 

The ceremony is from 4:30-5:00pm GMT. For our CST folks, this is 3:30pm.
