Woohoo! Pack your bags, we're going to Jamaica! We're very excited to have you join us for our wedding week. To make things simple, we've hired a travel agent to help our guests arrange accommodations. We've chosen to stay at the Grand Palladium Jamaica Resort & Spa, where all the fun will be happening!
Many details are below, but here are a few IMPORTANT things to note:

- Reserve your travel plans as soon as possible! To guarantee availability and discounted pricing, please put down your retainer with our travel advisor as soon as possible! We aren't holding any rooms, so rooms are first come first serve. The resort does have safety measures in place due to Covid-19 restrictions, so the resort can only sell about half of the rooms they normally have (which may cause the resort to sell out of rooms sooner). As soon as you know you are definitely joining for the week of fun, RSVP with our travel advisor right away to ensure you get a room within our wedding group.

- Typically there is only a small per person deposit to lock in your trip details and the rest of your trip cost isn't due until a couple months just before the wedding.

- Our resort only allows guests staying at the resort to attend wedding events, so you want to make sure to book within the wedding group for your accommodations.

- To ensure health and safety for traveling, Jamaica and the US do have Covid-19 testing policies in place. All travelers will need to take a test before leaving for Jamaica and traveling back from Jamaica. For more information on these travel policies, click on the "Jamaica Travel Policies" tab below!

Passport processing times have been extremely delayed and are taking sometimes up to 3 months to receive one in.

Found on the northeast coast (in Lucea near Montego Bay), Grand Palladium Jamaica Resort & Spa is situated between two of the island's most popular tourist towns. Its diverse facilities and coastal setting make it ideal for families, couples, and groups of friends seeking seaside relaxation and adventure at a complete, all-inclusive island getaway. Advantageously situated a stone’s throw away from a picturesque beach, as well as the sports centre and kids’ water park.

Grand Palladium Jamaica Resort & Spa overlooks glistening white shores with warm Caribbean seas. The hotel’s grand architecture embodies the vast natural environment, incorporating one of the largest pools in the Caribbean along with spacious grounds, providing a splendid experience. Its large, open terraces and roomy dining areas combine contemporary style with ancient architectural elements.

Start the day with a range of physical activities such as windsurfing, snorkeling, and tennis or go on a catamaran trip exploring the shimmering ocean. Laze on immaculate beaches and visit the Zentropia Spa & Wellness center to unwind, while the children stay occupied at the kid’s clubs. After that, enjoy a cocktail at the Infinity saloon bar, designed to emulate a cruise-like feel, with some pleasing views of the Caribbean sea as live music ushers in the evening. For dinner, try the delicious cuisine at the Chez Bubba steakhouse restaurant before heading to party at the Boogie Woogie Disco.

The Grand Palladium Jamaica Resort offers 2 styles of accommodations - Junior Suites and Suites which offer a more spacious room. There is access to 4 pristine beaches, as well as family-friendly or adults-only pools. There is a first class Zentropia Spa & Wellness center as well as 8 à la carte and 3 international restaurants offering mouthwatering cuisine for every palate, besides the 17 bars throughout the area.

We are currently all setup with our local travel agency Just Perfect Vows who you can contact directly to book as part of our wedding group. Just send a quick email (or call) to Stephanie and provide this information:

- The dates you'd like to go

- Who will be traveling with you

- Which airport you would prefer to fly out of

- If you have a room category in mind that you would like (such as the least expensive room option or an upgraded Suite room)

While Just Perfect Vows can offer competitive prices, they also offer personalized service. Anytime you have a question or concern, you will be able to contact them directly and will not have to go through a call center and speak with a different person each time. They have a 24-hour emergency line available for our guests if there should be any flight delays or problems at the resort while traveling. Again, instead of reaching a call center, you will reach one of their in-house travel advisors, who will do what they can to resolve any hiccups.

Most importantly, their strong relationship with the resort helps to ensure that guests of our wedding party that are booked through us will not be walked and placed in another resort due to overbooking. In addition to all of their great benefits, if you were to find a better “deal” outside of Just Perfect Vows, please allow them the opportunity to price match as many times they are able to honor prices found elsewhere. We would like to do our best to keep our family and friends consolidated at the resort for accountability with the travel agency. They also will be able to walk you through all of the new travel policies for Covid-19 testing and provide you will updates to these policies immediately if there are any changes. You can be reassured that they will send reminders when you need to get tested, what type of tests to take, options on where to get tested, and so much more important information.

We do ask that you RSVP and place your deposit for your trip as soon as possible. Again, no rooms are being held and prices typically are the least expensive the further in advance, so we recommend to book with Just Perfect Vows as soon as you know you are able to join for the wedding to ensure you are able to get a room with us.

The Grand Palladium Jamaica Resort has two different room types. Both room options offer balconies or terraces (on ground floor) with views of the garden areas, other resort buildings, and sometimes a small view of the ocean. All rooms have hair dryers and regular USA outlets, so no need for a converter!

We recommend groups of 2 reserve rooms for optimal comfort, but rooms can accommodate up to 3 guests (with exceptions for some families depending on children's ages). All rooms are based on double occupancy, so we found having a roommate is the most affordable way to stay to avoid paying the high single occupancy rates.

*Please know that the resort does not guarantee any type of room view and all rooms are assisted upon check in. Please let our travel agent know if you have any special requests such as needing a room on the first floor or needing a connecting room for your family. Again, the resort does not guarantee requests, but our travel agent will try her absolute best to work with the resort to fulfill your requests. *

Jamaica and the US both have travel safety policies in place for traveling internationally. These policies have been ever changing and some policies may change by the time of your departure to Jamaica. Though some of these policies may change before June, it is best to plan on the current policies today to still be in place when you travel. There may be a good chance that come summer time with covid-19 levels down and with so many more people vaccinated that these rules may change - but it is always best to plan on the policies in place today just in case. Here's a quick run down summary list of policies in place today:

- A Covid-19 test needs to be taken within 3 days of traveling to Jamaica for all travelers age 12 & over and even those who are vaccinated need to test right now (it can be a rapid test to get test results back quickly).

- In a rare scenario if someone were to test positive before traveling - any traveler who purchases the travel insurance would have travel coverage. Many times even if you need to cancel your trip within 24 hours, you can get a full refund or travel voucher back (just less the cost of the travel protection insurance) - so no money is lost that you have paid for the trip! - A Covid-19 test needs to be taken within 3 days of traveling back to the US for all travelers age 2 & over and even those who are vaccinated need to test right now (the resort provides US approved rapid tests for free right at the resort). - In a rare case scenario if someone were to test positive while in Jamaica - the resort is doing an amazing job and is covering up to 10 days free stay extension at the resort (the resort even offers some other benefits such as some medical coverage over & above the regular travel insurance and covers some expenses for a companion that may be traveling with you).
