Your Stay in Italy
Le Filigare Vineyard in Chianti
Check-in: Friday September 27 | 3pm
Check-out: Monday, September 30 | 10am
We have reserved the vineyard and villas at Le Filigare for our guests from September 27 to September 30. Each villa has private bedrooms, but it's possible that you may be sharing your villa (common areas such as kitchen + bathroom) with others.
Your stay at Le Filigare is on us! You do not need to contact the vineyard to pay for rooms.
Kindly RSVP if you would like to stay at Le Filigare as our guests. If you prefer to arrange your own accommodations, please decline. There are many Airbnbs, hotels, and agriturismos in the area.
Accommodations are set as a separate event on the RSVP page.
Transportation We will handle transportation from the vineyard to the wedding at Castello il Palagio and back.
Please Note: Le Filigare is situated atop one of the highest points in Chianti, offering breathtaking views. While it is in a secluded location with no nearby stores within walking distance, there are towns accessible within a 15-minute drive. Enjoy the convenience of complimentary breakfast, and each villa is equipped with its own kitchen for your comfort.

DINING EXPERIENCES
Dario Cecchini's restaurant offers a unique dining experience in Tuscany, showcasing the region's renowned red meat beyond just the famous Florentine steak. Guests can indulge in a variety of courses featuring Cecchini's prized beef, all served in an all-you-can-eat and drink format. Priced at 50 Euros per person, this culinary adventure promises a feast for the senses, celebrating the rich flavors and traditions of Tuscan cuisine. Make a reservation in advance!
PS There is a veg option for those who do not eat beef!
Museum Passes
Rome has two cards, one lasting 48 hours and the other 72. You can visit 1 or 2 museums but you’ll have full access to transports and discounts for events or exhibitions.
Florence has a pass that lasts 72 hours allowing you to enter all the museums of the cities once. I highly suggest this option while in Florence, a gem in the art history world. Do not miss out on visiting the Uffizi and Accademia.
Tipping & Asking for the Check
When dining out, you can forgo tipping your server. They're compensated generously. Tourism is a major industry in Italy, and one of the things that brings visitors from all over the world is their food culture. Most restaurants will have menus available in both English and Italian. You can also ask your server any recommendations. They love to chat about food and will often make some amazing suggestions.
In Italy, food and company aren't meant to be rushed, so it's considered rude to assume a table is done with their meal. When you are ready, simply ask your waiter for the check. They'll be happy to assist you.
"Il conto, per favore."—The check, please.
