Elmore Court is a beautiful manor house in the Cotswolds countryside, about 2 hours from London, near Gloucester.

Elmore Court is situated around 2 hours from London and ~4 hours from Yorkshire by car.
Heathrow and Luton are ~2 hours’ drive to Elmore.
Bristol is the nearest airport ~1 hour drive, however flights from Cork and Dublin seem to have been stopped or sold out unfortunately.

From Heathrow, you can take the Heathrow Express to Paddington and a train from there to Gloucester. If coming into Heathrow or Luton, you could rent a car. Elmore is less than 2 hours' drive from Heathrow on the M4, and just over 2 hours from Luton.

If there are a lot of people arriving at Heathrow or Luton at a similar time we can look into arranging a minibus - please let us know if you'd be interested in this option by emailing mandmhitched2020@gmail.com.


London Gatwick or Stansted are other options, although quite a bit further away.

Gloucester is the nearest town and rail link, about 10-15 mins from Elmore. 

There is a direct train from London Paddington that takes 1hr 45 mins. A return off-peak is approx. £60 (at the time of writing). 

Trains from Scarborough (via York) to Gloucester take around 4 hrs 30 mins. Cheaper tickets can be found at www.splittraintickets.net 

Elmore is roughly a 2 hour drive from West London, heading west on the M4. From Scarborough in Yorkshire, the journey is around 4 hours via the M5.

Waze and Google Map are good options to assist with navigation.


There are a small number of lovely rooms at Elmore Court for immediate family and the wedding party, including breakfast.

Being in the Cotswolds, there are plenty of guesthouse and B&B options around.

Airbnb is another good option, especially if you plan on staying on in the area.

Painswick is a pretty village known as 'Queen of the Cotswolds' about ~25 mins by car to the venue.  

There are options to stay here from guesthouses to the boutique Painswick Hotel.
