Food

If you want to explore a new area we highly recommend (located off site of hotel) Los Suenos Marina Village area: There are some great restaurants in Los Suenos Village including Dolce Vita, Bambu and Lanterna Italian Steakhouse. This is all located about 15min from the hotel (we usually uber). 

**Make sure you check if reservation is required at any restaurant you decide to go to due to covid.

Manuel Antonio National Park

Manuel Antonio National Park is one of the most amazing homes of the endangered Squirrel Monkey in the region, White Faced and Howler monkeys are also common in the park.  Playa Manuel Antonio is one of the most beautiful white sand beaches in Costa Rica and has been rated one of the top ten in the world. Let an experience nature guide take you on a hike tour through the beautiful Manuel Antonio National Park.

Carara National Park

Carara is a favorite place for bird watchers, besides its ease to access. Its position in a transitional zone means that residents of both habitats are likely to appear. Carara has flora and fauna from both ecosystems (Tropical dry forest region to the north and the more humid Pacific Rain Forest to the south), and the virgin forest that covers the park is the ideal environment for such rare wildlife as the Scarlet Macaw the fire bird Aracari and thee species of monkeys.

WHITE WATER RAFTING

The Savegre River is a magnificent stretch of coastal whitewater that begins its course by an inhabited valley, covered with jungle vegetation. The Savegre River and Naranjo River are 2 of the most pristine rivers in the country and they are surrounded by impressive views of rain forest.

The Canopy tour is a full time of adrenaline while been in total contact with one of the few transitional forest remaining the tropical rain forest and tropical humid forest in Costa Rica.

HORSEBACK RIDING TOUR

Horseback riding is perhaps one of the best ways to discover the wonders of the Rainforest; we have some of the nicest horses and the best views in the area, come and Discover nature at its best in our private exclusive 80-acre property.

The tour starts at our beautiful Herradura base just 10 minutes from Jaco Beach and Los Sueños area, once you arrive we will get prepared to depart on your journey, to the waterfalls and swimming pools, if you are lucky along the way you will have the opportunity to spot some great wild life such as: Toucans, Scarlet Macaws, White Face Monkeys. Upon arrival to the swimming area we will set up some fresh tropical fruits and water, and you will have some time to hang out and enjoy the waterfalls and natural slide.

ATV & BUGGY RIVER TOUR

Ones of the best jungle & river ATV and Buggy Adventure in Costa Rica, first you will receive instructions on how to use the atv`s or buggies and then take a test run on our specially designed private track, before you begin your journey.


The guide will lead you along the jungle trails, following rivers and sometimes-bumpy dirt paths.

Note: You may get dirty on The ATV portion of the tour, so please dress appropriately; if the paths are wet it can become very muddy.

Private Surf Lesson
Our surf instructors will start with a demonstration along with a stretching program on the beach. Our goal is to make you feel safe, secure and confident in the water. Basic surfing skills, safety tips, paddling techniques, standing up on a board and riding waves will part of your instruction. With a ratio of one student per one instructor, you can guarantee that you will catch the ideal waves for a beginner.

JUNGLE CROCODILE SAFARI

Located only 5 kilometers south of the river Tárcoles on the Pacific Coast, on the road to playa Jaco.

The river has 60 different species of bird, and is the best place to see the beautiful Scarlet Macaw.

The crocodile tour takes place at Tárcoles Río Grande. It will offer to the visitors the opportunity to observe American crocodile (Crocodylae, C. acutus), with more of 4 meters length. You will also observe iguanas and hundreds of different species from resident and migratory, terrestrial or coastal birds.

RIO CELESTE (TENORIO VOLCANO NATIONAL PARK)

Volcán Tenorio (1,916 meters), rising southeast of Upala, is blanketed in montane rainforest and protected within 18,402-hectare Parque Nacional Tenorio Volcano Is located in the northern part of Costa Rica, which forms part of the Arenal Tilaran Conservation Area. The jewel of the National Park is the volcano, from which it receives its name.
The awe-inspiring Rio Celeste (Light Blue River) is turned literally blue due to the emanation of sulfur from the volcano and precipitation of calcium carbonate. Thermal springs and small geysers dot the area as do rivers, waterfalls, lagoons and panoramic views.

This is a really good hiking adventure, During the tour in the park, we will visit places such as the Rio Celeste Waterfall, a perfect place for taking excellent photographs, Continuing the trek, we will visit the place, where two pristine brooks meets forming the perfect chemistry delighting us with the heavenly color that gives the river its name.

HOT SPRING WATER TOUR (MIRAVALLES VOLCANO)

The Miravalles Volcano is an andesitic strato volcano in Costa Rica. The caldera was formed during several major explosive eruptions that produced voluminous dacitic-rhyolitic pyroclastic flows between about 1.5 and 0.6 million years ago. The only reported historical eruptive activity was a small steam explosion on the SW flank in 1946. High heat flow remains, and Miravalles is the site of the largest developed geothermal field in Costa Rica.

The Miravalles Volcano reaches an elevation of 6,653 feet (2,023 m) and is the highest mountain in the Guanacaste Mountains. This is a interesting and different tour, we visit LAS HORNILLAS VOLCANO Hot Springs, this place is a Volcanic Activity Center is located in the Miravalles Volcano slopes, here you can observe hot water springs, bubbling mud, fumaroles and steam boilers. This is the only place in Costa Rica where you can walk inside the crater, watch and feel the steam coming out from the boiling mud.

SAILING BOAT

Sailboat tour from Playa Herradura. This trimaran boat is loaded with comfortable space on his trampolines and large cockpit. Fresh fruit and plenty of bottled water is provided as is the snorkel gear. The snorkeling equipments is on board and a fishing road is available. Snacks and refreshments are provided. Dolphins and whales often join tour and when the water is clear the snorkeling is beautiful.

BLANGALA SAILING TOURS


Based on the type of vessel and our service, Blangala offers the only really tour experience in the Central Pacific today.

Besides pick you up and land you right on the beach, our versatile ship (stiletto27) allows the participants to feel witness and participate on the exciting drill of being carried by the wind.

You can chose from our two daily shifts making a total of 3 hours of enjoyment each or booked privately to your party’s convenience. MONKEY TOUR ISLA DAMAS

SPORT FISHING

Welcome to one of the best fishing play ground in the world. The calm waters around the Sueños Marina, and the short travel time to fishing grounds (the average travel time from the dock to the fishing grounds is just over an hour in most instances) will give you the experience of a life time.

We offer “in shore” or “off shore” fishing, both half day and full day.

No refund in case of regular rain or if you do not catch anything at all.
