Casual and Fine Dining

Hong Kong has so much to offer and there are great restaurant options everywhere. Areas worth exploring, Sheung Wan, Soho, Causeway Bay, Wanchai and Tai Hang. If you want to book a nice meal somewhere Black Sheep Restaurants are a fan favourite group with many awesome options from fancy Chinese (Ho Lee Fook and Grand Majestic Sichuan) to the best steak at La Vache. Check out their website to book. blacksheeprestaurants.com/

Sightseeing

The Peak

Hike up the morning trail from Hatton Road in Mid-levels to the top of the Peak and walk the circuit at the top for amazing views of the city. The Peak Galleria at the top has shops and restaurants. If you are tired after walking up the hill you can take the iconic Peak Tram back down the mountain to save the queues from the bottom.

Lantau Island Big Buddha

If you feel like venturing a little further afield you could get on the train to Tung Chung and then do a hike to see the Big Buddha. There is also a cable car for people who are less enthusiastic about walking!

Islands

If you miss out on the Sunday recovery at Lamma Island but still want to explore some of Hong Kong's islands. You can jump on a ferry from Central to Cheung Chau, Peng Chau or Lamma Island.

Repulse Bay

The south side of the island has lots of nice beaches. Repulse Bay is the main attraction with The Pulse shopping mall on the beachfront offering some nice cafes for breakfast or lunch and playgrounds for the kids.

Shek O or Big Wave Bay

Shek O and Big Wave Bay are next to each other. They are Southside of Hong Kong island and best reached by taxi or by hiking Dragon's Back an easy hike.

Sai Kung - Sai Wan Beach

If you really want to see another side to Hong Kong then head to Sai Kung for the day. Have breakfast at Little Cove Espresso in Sai Kung and then jump on a boat to Sai Wan beach. Beware these boats go fast! Make sure you buy a return ticket and find out what time the boat will be coming back. You don't want to get stuck out here. It is a beautiful spot and very isolated. Have a swim, pack a picnic or eat the one local restaurant on the beach.

Disneyland and Ocean Park

The two big theme parks in Hong Kong. Both are fantastic options for a family outing!

Rooftops

Hong Kong has one of the most epic skyline's in the world. There are many rooftop bars and restaurants where you can enjoy the view with a drink.
