Every couple years we visit Prague. We have been to Europe many times so yes it was special to get away but nothing out of the ordinary. We usually choose to drive in to Prague from other countries nearby and if you know Mark he loves the open road and Germany has the autobahn I don’t think I need to explain that one. We start in southwest Bavaria. Mark knows I am completely obsessed with the beauty, romance and history of medieval castles and took me on a tour of castles along our journey. This was also part of the romantic road that outlines cute villages and historical sightseeing spots and of course castles!! First we visited Neuschwanstein Castle then continued to the Burg Eltz Castle in Wierschem the following day. We took a tour of the castle ( this castle is named one of the most unique and beautiful castles in all of Germany) and on October 24th 2018, It was cold and rainy afternoon honestly the perfect dramatic setting you want to see an old medieval castle in. He asked a passing tourist to take our picture where he then surprised me and got down on one knee to ask for my hand in marriage. I was crying in disbelief and insisted this wasn’t happening I was so surprised. He stayed on his knee on the wet bricks patiently waiting with his heart in his hand for me to say yes. After hugging and crying we had a couple local guides let us know that our bus driver was a minister and could marry us right then and there! I kindly declined and insisted I wanted palm trees when I got married lol. It was the perfect fairy-tale beginning.

It's supposed to be revitalizing and restorative - but it was just Mark and I playing in the mud!

Jessica & Mark - What can you say about Como Italy? Its the most romantic place on earth.
