THE BRIDE’S GUESTS DO NOT HAVE TO ATTEND THIS EVENT
Allamata is the custom of decorating the bride and groom in their own home. The best man and maid of honor are responsible for dressing the couple, and traditionally, they do this to the accompaniment of a violin and lute, along with specific songs. This process includes shaving the groom, dressing the bride and groom, wearing a belt, “smoking” the bride and groom etc.
The groom guests do not have to attend this event
MARGARITA’S GUESTS HAVE TO ATTEND THIS EVENT. IT IS THE FIRST EVENT OF THE DAY.
COME READY FOR THE WEDDING BUT BRING COMFORTABLE SHOES/OUTFIT.
