We would like to thank everyone who has thought about wedding gifts and it is certainly greatly appreciated, however we know that many people will be traveling, and some from very far to be here for our wedding which can already be expensive and difficult without having to worry about bringing any kind of gift along. And since we both feel so lucky to have the people we love come to celebrate with us and so lucky to have each other and the love that has brought us all together for this celebration, we've decided instead to take the opportunity to support the nonprofit organization amfAR which is the Foundation for AIDS Research and one of the world's leading nonprofit organizations dedicated to the support of AIDS research, HIV prevention, treatment education, and advocacy. Since 1985, amfAR has invested nearly $550 million in its programs and has awarded more than 3,300 grants to research teams worldwide. And so we want to thank you all in advance for whatever you are able to give, as the gratitude of any donation for us far exceeds it's equivalent in material gifts.
