When Adeel Met Aliza
Back in the summer of 2014, Aliza was backpacking through the Amazon forest. Traversing through the dense forage, she was eager to discover the legendary Aktra Crystal which takes thousands of years to form and is meant to have astounding skin cleansing properties.
Adeel at the same time was in Peru campaigning for the conservation of the almost extinct frog-face turtle. Locals in Peru would hunt the turtle for its shell which was used for ornamental gifts.
The two bumped into each other when Aliza who climbed up a mango tree to pick its fruit fell next to Adeel who was inspecting the same tree for frog-face turtle eggs.
The rest is history...
LOL... they met at Js on a Saturday night mid 2017.
Sleepless In Nairobi
And then began the journey of phone calls, whtsapp messages, night outs. Both of them got to know each other better and they could hardly sleep at nights. Thye would chat with each other to the wee hours of the night which obviously meant that Adeel was half asleep at office.
Aliza was almost getting black circles around her eyes while she was getting ready to host her Miss India Kenya event. Work was the hindrance in their romantic story which was why they waited for the Miss India Kenya to get over.
What came next was never expected by Aliza.

The Proposal
Adeel proposed to Aliza on a parasail in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea. After the Miss India Worldwide Kenya 2018 event in September the couple went off for a break to the city of Ayia Napa in Cyprus.
It took some convincing to get Aliza up on a parasail due to her uneasiness of heights and deep water but eventually she agreed to go with Adeel for the 15 minute excursion.
In the sky, he pulled out the box from his rear swim shorts pocket (Aliza kept asking him why he was constantly holding his backside on the way), flipped the box open and proposed. Miraculously, Aliza wasn’t terrified of heights and the two were engaged!
The Wedding Date
One year after the engagement, they finally decided to become each others' for life!
After a few discussions and deliberations, it was confirmed that Aliza & Adeel will take their vows on the sands of Kenya's most beautiful beach in Malindi.
As Aliza & Adeel say "We want you to witness our Union and celebrate the wonderful moment with us. Every moment shared with you will be a golden memory for us"
