Airports & Directions
There are several options for coming to Vero Beach when traveling by air. The largest and most commonly used airport is Orlando International Airport (MCO). MCO is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes north of Vero Beach, via SR-528 & I-95. Miami International Airport (MIA) is the next largest option and is slightly further away. MIA is approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes south of Vero Beach via I-95 (Please note that with Traffic, the drive between Vero and Miami can be as long as 3-3 1/2 Hours).
Additionally, if you would prefer, you can take a connecting flight to Melbourne International Airport (MLB), which is only 45 minutes north of Vero Beach via I-95. Two airlines offer this connection service: American Airlines connects to MLB through Charlotte International Airport (CLT); and Delta connects to MLB through Atlanta International Airport (ATL).
Alternatively, there are several airlines including American, United, Delta, Southwest, and JetBlue that fly directly to Palm Beach International Airport (PBI) from East Coast Cities including Washington D.C., Baltimore, Newark, and New York City. PBI is 1 Hour and 20 Minutes south of Vero Beach, via I-95 N.
