It would make our wedding dreams come true to have as many of our family and friends camp with us Friday and Saturday evening. This is really important to us and will make our wedding dreams a reality! We urge you to really consider camping with us at Button Bay State Park instead of finding a hotel.
We have reserved 37 tent/RV camping sites in our name for our guests. The campsites are booked from 9/8/23 - 9/10/23. The campground has restrooms with flushing toilets, hot and cold running water, coin-operated hot showers, and a dump station.
If you are interested in renting an RV to stay in for the wedding weekend, there are many options available through rvshare.com. We recommend booking sooner rather than later so that options don't become more limited.
If you are traveling from out of town you will want to ensure you click the delivery option.
There are also websites that you can order a full tent set up from if you wish to tent camp instead.

Button Bay, a 253-acre park, is located on a bluff in Ferrisburgh along the 130-mile long Lake Champlain. Historically, the area has been visited by such notables as Samuel De Champlain (1609), Ethan Allen (1776), Ben Franklin (1776), and Benedict Arnold (1777). Once operating as a farm, the area became a state park in 1964. The park is so named for the button-like concretions formed by clay deposits found along the shoreline.
The following are a few of the basic rules that apply to the campground.
- Check in time for tent/RV sites, lean-to's and cottages is between 2 PM - 9 PM
- Respect others - observe 10 PM. to 7 AM. quiet hours. Report noise or other problems immediately.
- Check out for tent/RV sites, lean-to's and cottages is 11 AM
- Please do not bring firewood from outside of Vermont to prevent the spread of harmful invasive insects.
- Campsite visitors are required to pay a visitor fee and must leave by 9 PM.
- Protect trees. Do not peel bark or cut standing trees, you may use dead branches lying on the ground.
- Keep campfires low and in fireplace or ring.
- Dishwashing must be done on the campsite, not at water spigots.
- Keep and leave a clean campsite. Place recyclables and trash in appropriate bins.
- Pets permitted only in designated areas, on less than 10-foot leash at all times and are not allowed in many day use areas.
Campsites are $45 per night, with up to 8 people and 2 cars per site. The cost of campsites are increased from standard VT State park camping pricing to cover the cost of group camping! All payments for campsites will be sent to Jennifer Harper via PayPal, Venmo, or Cash/Check at time of arrival to your campsite.
Campsites will be assigned based on whether you have a camper/RV or tent. Not all sites can accommodate an RV, so those with RV's will be assigned site numbers first. We will do our best to keep family/friends who know each other in a similar area. Please note that there are not electrical or water hook-ups for RVs at each site. There is a central drinking water station, and an RV dump station.
To reserve your campsite please visit the RSVP tab of our wedding website. In your RSVP we will ask you to list the number of people on the site, tent or camper/RV, length of camper/RV (if applicable), and if you plan to stay both nights or only one night.
If you would like to stay longer than 2 nights (9/8/23 and 9/9/23) this can be accommodated. Cost per additional night is $22. Please reach out to Madeline Harper, at cantstoplufkinyou@gmail.com, for your site number. Once you know your site number you will be able to call the state park (or book online) for your additional nights.
Pets are welcome at Button Bay Sate Park! See the information below provided by the campground.
Camping with Your Pet
-Pets are permitted in all campgrounds for a per-night fee
- Pet fee = $2.00 per night for all overnight camping accommodations where pets are permitted.
- Pets must be safely confined or on a leash no more than 10 feet in length
- Please respect others by keeping your pet's barking to a minimum
- Pets are expected to have current vaccinations
- Please clean up after your pet

For those of you who are traveling from out-of-town, we are so grateful that you are making the trip to Vermont for our wedding celebration.
When booking flights you should plan to fly into any of the following airports.
- BTV - Burlington International Airport, this airport is closest to our wedding venue, however it can be more expensive to fly in and out of because it is a small airport. - LEB - Lebanon Municipal Airport, this is the next closest airport to our wedding venue, however it is more expensive to fly in and out of because it is a small airport (even smaller than BTV). - BOS - Boston Logan International Airport, this airport while farthest from our wedding venue, tends to be the least expensive to fly in and out of because it is a larger airport. - BDL - Bradley International Airport, this airport is approximately the same distance as BOS is from our wedding venue. This airport is slightly smaller than BOS which makes it more convent to fly in and out of. It sometimes has cheaper flight than BTV, LEB, and BOS depending on where you are traveling from.
