We suggest that you plan to arrive in Costa Rica on February 12th and fly out on February 17th to fully experience what we have envisioned for the getaway.
We want you to treat this as a vacation, so other than attending the wedding ceremony and reception, you can decide how you'd like to spend your time in Costa Rica!
We do recommend that you extend your trip if you'd like because how often is it that you're in paradise?!
Tamarindo Diria is a resort located right on the beach in Tamarindo. This property allows easy access with walking distance to area shops, restaurants, bars, and activities. Tamarindo Diria offers 3 pools on property, allowing plenty of space to lounge and relax.
We have secured a room block to ensure group rates and availability for our guests. We encourage reserving early as these are first come first serve based on availability.
There are also some great villas in Tamarindo & Playa Langosta and Arlene from our planning team "Mil Besos" (this translates to "1,000 Kisses" in Spanish!) can help match you with property options that suit your preferences (like budget and number of bedrooms needed).

The closest airport to the resort is Daniel Oduber International Airport in Liberia (Airport Code: LIR). The drive time from LIR to the resort is approximately 1 to 1.5 hours.
The other option is to fly into Juan Santamaria International Airport in Alajuela, near the capital city, San Jose (Airport Code: SJO). The drive time from SJO to the resort is approximately 4 hours.
Important notes to consider regarding airport selection:
SJO is only recommended if you are extending your travel and will be visiting other destinations closer to San Jose.
Private Transportation is available any time, day or night, but if your arrival flight time is later at night or your departure flight time is early morning, we suggest spending the day/night prior, closer to SJO. Sometimes flights into SJO cost less than flying into LIR, but the savings are likely to be canceled out by the cost of staying overnight closer to the airport plus the extra time and cost of ground transportation from SJO, so be sure to take this into consideration when comparing flights.

If you prefer a rental car, they can take care of that as well. Just let them know how many people are in your party and your travel dates so they can provide an accurate quote.
Guanacaste is a dry forest region, perfect for long lazy days at the beach, but with plenty to offer for those that want to explore! Activities in this area include ATV’s, Waterfalls, Ziplining, Catamaran Cruises, Wildlife Boat Cruises, Snorkeling, Surfing, and even Spearfishing!
