For those who are around in the days leading up to the wedding, we are planning a fun day out in the winelands.
There are multiple tram lines which you can choose from, offering stops at the best wine farms in the region - also some of the best dining experiences!
We have chosen what we think is the best option, the grey route, which we have tried and tested!
We aim to end our day at one of our favourite views in the area - Dieu Donne - meaning: 'a gift from god'. This place is truly spectacular!
Get ready for a day filled with cheese and wine!
Please RSVP by no later than 5 December 2021 and let us know if you any dietary restrictions.
The ceremony will be at 3:00pm at the Vrede en Lust Ceremony Lawn, followed by canapes and cocktails in the gardens.
Please arrive in time to be seated by 2:45pm at the latest.
The wedding guests will be escorted to the Vrede en Lust Reception Venue to drink, eat, dance and be merry!
The dress code is smart / formal.
As it will be the end of summer and easing into autumn, weather can be somewhat unpredictable. We recommend cocktail dresses for the ladies and a suit or chinos and a smart blazer for the men (tie optional).
There could be a chill in the air in the evening - so be sure to bring along a pashmina.
Please note that children are welcome at all events.
To allow parents some respite during the wedding reception dinner, we have arranged for qualified child minders from the local school to supervise and entertain all kids in the Vrede en Lust Manor House.
We will be providing all parents with additional information closer to the time.
