How all good weekends typically start, we were both having a few 'Friday' night drinks with work colleagues in the DIFC.
John convinced his colleague to engage Jen in some friendly banter. A few cringy minutes later, John strolled over and managed to rescue the conversation - of course using his best British wit and charm!
After falling for John's sly plot, the rest is history - the 'Johniffer' was born!

Tokyo Skytree Tower | 20 September 2019
It was a trip of a lifetime, it was the Rugby World Cup in Japan!
John had been planning this trip from since before we met. In fact, it was our second date when John mentioned... "If we are still a thing in 2019, we are going to the world cup in Japan"
Little did we know that 2.5 years later, John was going to hijack his birthday dinner celebration up the Skytree Tower and get down on one knee to ask Jen to marry him!
Definitely the highlight of the trip - we also managed to watch England dominate Tonga and USA. We won't mention the final - however we are sure it will come up in the wedding speeches!
