I met Seun in August 2021 while on a trip to Nigeria. I was catching up with my friend Tobi and she asked how my dating life was going. She mentioned that she knew someone who was “my type” and would be a really good fit. To be honest, I was a bit skeptical, but my curiosity got the best of me. However, the more she described him, the more I became intrigued. The gentleman in question was a childhood friend of her husband, Laolu. So as soon as Laolu came home, we accosted him and convinced him to arrange a double date.
We arranged a double date at Z Kitchen in Victoria Island, Lagos. Dinner was amazing! Seun was quite shy, but I liked his vibe so I decided to shoot my shot. I asked if we could exchange numbers and the rest, as they say, is history.
