Join us for an evening of drinks, hors d'oeuvres, and desserts as we raise a glass to the exciting day ahead. We can’t wait to kick off our wedding weekend with you, surrounded by beautiful views and great company on the water. The welcome event is open to all wedding guests. 

Attire: Smart Casual (Think trousers or chinos, sundresses, jumpsuits)

Please be mindful of your footwear, as the boat has a lot of stairs leading up to the top deck. 


Parking Information

While the Spirit of Ethan Allen does not have a designated parking lot, there are several parking options nearby. The closest parking to the boat is the Pease Lot located at 14 College Street. If you're staying in one of the hotel blocks, it's just a short 10-minute walk to the dock. Please note that shuttle services will not be available for this event. 

Boarding Information

Boarding for the boat begins at 6:00 PM, and we will set sail promptly at 6:30 PM. Please be on time, as the boat cannot wait for late arrivals.

Shuttle Information

Shuttles will depart from both Hotel Champlain and the Hilton Garden Inn Burlington Downtown. They will arrive outside each hotel at 3:00 PM and will depart promptly at 3:15 PM. We kindly ask that you arrive a few minutes early, if possible. Shuttles will be available to return guests to their hotels at the end of the night. If you're joining the after-party, the shuttle will drop you off at Devil Takes a Holiday.

Parking Information

Should you choose not to take the shuttle, Maquam Barn and Winery offers plenty of convenient on-site parking for both the ceremony and reception.

All guests are welcome to join us for a farewell brunch the morning after the wedding. Final details are still being arranged, so please check back soon for updates.
