It all began when Gerry came to teach Kelly's lesson at university... And then couldn't get the job because he started dating her!
Six months in and they took a big step into their relationship... Not only was Cyprus their first holiday together, but it was to attend Gerry's Mum's wedding!
They were very lucky to share a graduation day together, Kelly for her degree and Gerry for his post-graduate certificate!
For Kelly's 21st, they discovered their favourite city... New York!
2.5 years in, they went on their biggest adventure yet! They took a road trip around the Southern States of America, including the musical cities of Nashville, Memphis and New Orleans!
... Which, as we all know, ended with their engagement on Anna Maria Island, Kelly's favourite place in the whole world <3
When they returned home, an engagement party was in order! At their local pub in Hove :)
Shortly after, their next adventure began! They lived in Pimlico, London for almost 2 years <3
On occasion they decide to brave the outside world... This particular photo was taken at an 80's night at their local bar!
Throughout their journey they've seen many of their friends get married, which only got them more excited for their own!
Little did they know that before their wedding arrived, their first home would instead! "We own a tree! And three toilets! And many door hinges!"
And last year they took a pre-Honeymoon to San Francisco. They only got to spend three days there before the flight ban took place, but they had an amazing time in those three days. Their final trip was to Yosemite, the most incredible place they've ever been.
No pandemic has stopped them dressing up and having date nights! Lockdown has certainly been emotional with the loss of their Florida wedding, but they both say it's been an important year to focus and grow in their relationship <3
Kelly & Gerry's Wedding Day
21 April 2021 marked the day of their official marriage! The sun was shining and the day turned out to be more than they could have hoped for in the middle of a pandemic. The only thing missing was you guys <3
