FAQ

Lodge Rules:
Please do not leave moop (Matter Out Of Place)! We’ll get charged if the venue has to pick up “silly string, confetti, faux flowers, glitter, rice, or scattered decorative ornamentation.”

This event takes place in a local community, so please end all outside amplified sound by 10pm.

We love 420 and so do you! We're technically not allowed to have cannabis onsite but know some of us will light up, so if you'd like to indulge please be semi discrete if event staff are around.

When is check-in and check-out at the lodge?
Check in is at 4:00pm on 9/26 and check-out is at 11:00am on 9/29. The lodge has a strict 11:00am check-out of housing as they are fully booked.

How should I dress?
What is your favorite thing to wear? A cat onsie? Your faux fur coat and silver boots? Yes and yes! The one dress rule is there are no rules. We’ve provided suggested themes for some activities (see Agenda for details). Wear what you want and let your wild side do the choosing. We’ll also have a “leave what you want, take what you want” costume trunk in the Carriage House for people to pull from or change throughout the day (help yourself)!

Don’t forget your rain jackets, faux furs for warmth and boots built for stomping around outside on the lodge grounds.

What should I pack?
Bring clothes that will keep you warm in case it's cold and dry in case it's raining. We'll be spending as much time outside as possible including during the day and late nights by the campfire, under the stars. The ceremony will be outside, rain or shine.

Other items to pack: Shoes to wear around the property, indoor games for Monday night, outdoor games for Tuesday, clothes/costumes you may want to donate to the costume trunk, an appetizer to share Monday night, any snacks you want and food for Tuesday lunch and Wednesday breakfast before the ceremony.

Please take care of yourself and bring whatever you need to be comfortable and have fun!

What about meals?
Most of your meals will be covered by your hosts or generous guests – check the final Agenda to see what meals are planned (we'll email a reminder a week before the event). There is a shared kitchen available in the Main Lodge and commercial prep kitchen near the Carriage House, and the Family Cabin and all Riverfront Cabins have private kitchens.

If I’m in an A-frame Tent or camping, where do I use the bathroom or shower?
Campers can use the private outdoor showers (they’re so fun!) and the bathrooms in the laundry house (see map).

Can I bring my pup?
Yup! The lodge charges a $25 fee per dog/per day and pets must be picked up after. Please let us know beforehand if you'll be bringing your pup.

Can I bring my kids?
We love your kids! But we also love you getting a break away from them to party with us. So, no kids please.

Is there cell phone access?
Cell phone access will depend on your service provider. Word in the neighborhood is that Verizon seems to be best up and down Highway 126. Some guests will most likely have adequate service while others may not. Wifi is also available.

Is there wireless internet?
Yes, there is throughout the entire property close to lodging. Their 5 mbps Wifi is strongest up by the main lodge. Wifi is accessible upon entering the property, no password required. It can be spotty sometimes, as the lodge is subject to the wifi signal in town.

How long does it take to get to Loloma Lodge?
The lodge is approximately 2.5 hours from Portland, 1 hour from Eugene or 1.5 hours from Bend via Highway 126.

Sleeping Options at the Lodge

Please Note: Lodging at Loloma Lodge will be reserved for guests who will be there all four days, unless you opt to camp onsite – then the number of days doesn't matter. If your top preference is to stay in one of the buildings at the lodge, we’ll do our best to follow your preferences and make everyone happy.

Lodge check-in is 4pm Monday 9/26, and check-out is 11am Thursday 9/29. See FAQ section or lodge website for more property details.

Review the lodging options below and mark your plans/top choices on the RSVP form. We'll notify guests of final lodging closer to the elopement.

Camping/RV ($35/night): Tents, vans and RVs can be parked wherever you’d like on paved roads. Camp if you're staying any amount of time as there's plenty of room. No parking on the fields (there are water and septic tanks below!) There are no water or electrical hookups. Guests must bring their own extension cord if they need electrical hookups to a cabin. Electricity is also available to share in all of the main lodge buildings. Dumping must be done off-site. Campers can use the private outdoor showers (they’re so fun!) and the full bathroom in the laundry house.

A Frame Tents ($85/night): A-Tents: Small, private permanent a-frame tents with one queen bed that sleeps 1-2 people. Includes a “bedding kit” with sheets, pillows, down comforter. Towels for the outside shower are provided for nearby outside showers. No hookups (electricity or water) but there is an LED lantern and cuteness overload. Electricity is available to share in all of the main lodge buildings.

Lodge Room ($150/night): Private rooms with a queen or king size bed. Shared bathroom. Located either in the Main Lodge or the Family Cabin.

Individual Lodge Bed ($50/night): There are four semi private beds split between the Main Lodge or the Family Cabin. Each is located in a cute and cozy loft above the main sitting area and has access to a shared bathroom.

Riverfront Cabins ($200/night): The lodge has four riverfront cabins. Each has a full kitchen, cozy bedroom w/queen bed, bathroom with shower, and a futon sofa in the living room (so they could sleep a third person). The cabins all have extraordinary views of the crystal-clear McKenzie River, steps from your deck. Each cabin has a wood-burning fireplace and radiant heated stone floors.
