You will need to book your flight to arrive in Cancun, and then it is a 48-minute shuttle/taxi/bus to Quintana Roo. We recommend USA Transfers.
There are direct flights from most major cities including Miami. Flight time from Miami to Cancun is approximately two hours. From New Orleans, direct flights are limited, you will most likely have a connecting flights.
Instructions for Arrival:
-On your flight to Cancun, you will be provided immigration and customs declaration forms on the plane and should fill them out during the flight.
-When you land you will go directly from the arrival gate to immigration processing.
-After the immigration process you will collect your luggage and head toward the customs checkpoint.
-At the customs checkpoint, luggage is searched on a random basis--this line moves quickly and your luggage will likely not be checked.
-After passing through the customs checkpoint there will be ATMs, currency exchange booths, and bathrooms that we recommend taking advantage of--this will be your last opportunity to use the bathroom and get cash before leaving the airport. The national currency in Mexico is the Mexican Peso (MXN). However the US Dollar is widely accepted across Mexico especially in the more touristic places like Playa del Carmen. In fact most tour companies, restaurants, and even some shops will have their prices in both pesos and dollars.

We recommend flying into the Cancun International Airport. This is the closest airport to Quintana Roo and is located 86.6 kilometers away from the aiport, approximately a 66 minute drive.

We highly recommend for all our guests to stay at Hilton Playa del Carmen however, if you decide to stay somewhere else and choose to come only for the event you have to purchase a day pass.
