Airports

LAX

Out-of-Towners will want to fly into Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). It is a short 25-30 minute drive from the airport to the Pico-Robertson neighborhood where we'll be staying.

Transportation

Rent-a-Car or UBER

LA is not a walking town. Our suggestions:

>> Rent a Car - Pros: You'll have the freedom to travel as you please! Cons: You'll need to navigate puzzling parking signs (police are quick to ticket!) and succumb to LA's expensive valet and parking lot fees.

>> UBER or LYFT - Pros: Much cheaper if you'll be hanging with us all weekend. Both ride services are readily available and super affordable. Cons: You have to wait for them to arrive. Could get pricey if you're planning to squeeze in a trip to Disneyland (≈1hr+) or Universal Studios (≈45min+).

>> Word to the Wise - Due to LA's infamous traffic, ALWAYS allocate extra time to get to your destination. Lara once ran into bumper-to-bumper traffic on the freeway at 2AM! And you certainly won't be the only one who wants to sunbathe on the beach over the weekend! #PalmTreesWheatGrassandRoadRage #OnlyinLA!
