Harry, native of Clitheroe, England and Allison native of Atlanta, GA began their story in 2008 when Harry moved here from England, accompanied by his mother and father, Gail and Peter Lambert.
Little did Harry and Allison know when they took this picture at their prom fashion show their senior year of high school that this friendship would be the basis of a beautiful love story.
They both attended Lambert High School where they spent 4 years together growing their friendship and making a pretty awesome group of friends. Most of those friends will be in attendance at the wedding helping to celebrate years of friendship and love!
After high school, Allison attended Ole Miss where she earned a degree in Business Marketing and had some of the best years of her life.
Meanwhile, Harry attended Georgia College where he continued his career in golf and graduated top of his class in Management Information Systems.
Harry and Allison reconnected when they attended Music Midtown together in 2018. After a weekend of catching up and having a great time together, Harry decided to ask Allison out on a date and the rest was history!
Fast forward to 2019, Harry and Allison started to travel to new places together and decided to make the big trip across the pond so Allison could meet the rest of Harry’s family in England.
Once Harry received approval from his Nana, Hazel, he knew he had a good one.
In February of 2020 Harry surprised Allison for her birthday and Valentine’s Day with a trip to NYC! She had no idea where she was going until they arrived at the terminal in the airport and boy was she excited to explore the big apple with her love! Valentine’s Day in NYC...how romantic?!
Harry booked a hotel in the Upper East Side of the city and he had the entire weekend planned out with many fun adventures and dates!
On the second day of their trip (Valentine’s Day), Harry took Allison on an early morning walk through Central Park and led her to see the John Lennon Imagine Mosaic knowing her love for music that she would want to take some pictures here.
As Allison was taking a picture with the Mosaic in the background, Harry told her he had a question he’s been wanting to ask her. He got down on a knee and asked her to spend her life with him, the world around her stopped and she had never felt such joy in her life. Of course she said yes with excitement knowing that she was going to spend the rest of her life with her lover and best friend.
The rest of the day was filled with exploring the city, enjoying some New York pizza, shopping, and ended with a romantic evening at the theater where they saw Phantom Of The Opera.
But the surprises weren’t over yet! When they returned home to Atlanta, Harry took Allison to her parents home where all of their friends and family were there to surprise them. There was no better way to end the weekend than celebrating their new life together with all of their loved ones!
