It was the fall of 2014, when Kylie and Dylan’s story began. This year marked the start of law school and many days and nights of Dylan trying to woo Kylie.
After an initial hiccup of Dylan having to abruptly exit a cab after one of their first dates to find a bathroom, leaving Kylie to take the ride home alone, the pair have taken on the past six years, together every step of the way. Dylan and Kylie have graduated law school, studied for (and passed) the bar, traveled Europe, started careers and welcomed Sanka, their yellow Labrador, into their lives.
Post-Europe and pre-Sanka Dylan and Kylie traveled to Sedona, Arizona where they woke up at the crack of dawn on September 15, 2019 for a sunrise hike. The sun was set to rise at 6:30AM that morning. Dylan, in all his enthusiasm, wanted to be at the trail head by 5:00AM, despite the relatively short hike. They reached the summit at about 5:45AM, and it was still pitch black. Knowing he wanted to propose as the sun was rising over the valley, Dylan was forced to lead Kylie around aimlessly on the trail until it was light enough to see. Finally, the sun was up and Dylan proposed at the summit of Doe Mountain.
After six years and despite the trials and tribulations of 2020 we are ready to tie the knot and we look forward to having each of you take part in our celebration.
