CODY: It was May 19th about 4:00 in the afternoon. I had just walked in my front door after a day of golf with Cousin Seth, when I am awed by a beautiful, blonde-haired, blue-eyed goddess skipping through my living room. I quickly remembered my roommate Eden had mentioned that her best friend was coming into town for a visit, but hadn’t given it any thought until now! She turned to me with surprise, yet greeted me with a fun, “Welcome home, Honey!” She then extended her arms and embraced me with a big hug. I looked at her with stars in my eyes and said, “Welcome home to you, too, Honey!” As we hugged, my cousin looked at me and said, “Boy, you are in trouble!” That week Krystal was willing to try skiing, golf, staying in a haunted hotel and even skydiving. I fell in love with how full of life and ready for adventure she is. I was thrilled when she postponed her trip home and heartbroken when she had to return to Cleveland.
KRYSTAL: I got back to Cleveland and felt awful. I was confused, lonely, and sad. I missed Codys humorous, outgoing personality and the child like love of life we shared. And I can’t leave out-he is just super hot! After about 4 days, I called Cody and told him I couldn’t be away from him any longer! He was in Las Vegas golfing, and said, “Baby, just get on a plane and come out here…!” My heart started racing because I couldn’t believe that he really wanted me to join him. After a lot of conflicting thoughts, I did what any girl would do! I finagled a month off work, packed my bags in seconds and caught the last flight to Vegas that night. My heart was pounding the entire five-hour flight. I constantly texted Eden with messages like….OMG….What am I doing???.….This is absolutely crazy!!.... She just responded with words of encouragement and told me how happy she was for us and everything would be fine! When I arrived in Vegas and called Cody, he didn’t answer! I took an Uber to the hotel and couldn’t find him. Just as I was beginning to panic-Cody called,”Baby, where are you? I am at the airport in a limo to pick you up!”
He dashed back to the hotel lobby and we ran into each others arms.
