Visiting Guelph
Sharing a list of our favourite things to do in Guelph. Most are walkable from the Delta hotel.
Cafes: For breakfast or a light lunch, we love going to Eric the Baker (cash only), The Red Brick Cafe, With the Grain, or Balzac's; all located downtown Guelph
Royal City Park: This park is located along Speed River and you can't miss it on your way downtown. It is a fun spot for a morning walk or run, grabbing ice cream at The Boat House or, if you are feeling adventurous, canoeing
John MacCrae House: Lest we forget one of the most famous Guelphites! His family home is now a National Historic Site and a small museum
Guelph Farmer's Market: Open for nearly 200 years, check out this market for local produce, artisanal products and music; Saturdays only
Elora: This cute village is perched on the edge of a beautiful gorge and is a 25 min drive away from Guelph. While there, check out the Elora Brewery!
The Arboretum: 400 acres of forest, trails & gardens adjacent to the University of Guelph campus; another great spot for a morning walk or run
Aberfoyle Antique Market: Open every Sunday and located between Guelph and the 401; perusing these good's is Krizia's favourite Sunday activity
