While there are no direct flights from the US, you can easily reach the island with a connecting flight. We advise booking early (really as early as possible) both to secure the flights and best priced accommodation.
Important: A passport with at least 6 months validity is required for Saint Barths.
From the US
Choose a Gateway Airport:
St. Maarten: With direct flights each day from Miami, New York, Boston, Philadelphia and Atlanta to Princess Juliana International Airport (SXM) on St. Maarten.
San Juan, Puerto Rico: Another option is to fly to San Juan International Airport (SJU) and then take a connecting flight to St. Barts.

Several airlines offer short flights between these gateway airports and St. Barts. Popular options include:
Tradewind Aviation: Offers direct flights from San Juan to St. Barts.
Winair: Offers multiple daily flights between St. Maarten and St. Barts.
From the UK or Continental Europe
Air France, KLM and British Airways from major European cities (Paris, London, Amsterdam) have direct flights to St Maarten.
Ferry From St.Marteen
The Great Bay Express Ferry departs from Philipsburg in St Maarten to Gustavia in St Barths three times daily. Philipsburg is about a 10 minute drive from the SXM airport. The ferry costs around $60 for a single trip.
