The Story of Kyle and Madison

Madison born and raised in Washoe Valley Nevada, Kyle born and raised Oklahoma native. Though it is not unique for people to meet online, Kyle and Madison meet though Facebook back in 2007.

They maintained a relationship through their high school careers. They would spend hours talking on the phone and on the computer and in 2010 Madison flew to Oklahoma to meet Kyle and to look at a prospective college. They finally had their first under the stars, back country road, slow dance this in 2010 and as life happens they went their separate ways.

Fast forward to 2017, out of a decision for a lifestyle change Madison decided to moved to Amarillo, TX. Madison knew very few people and neither of them expected anything from her move during her time there they rekindled what they had in high school, except now there wasn't just one Kyle... there was now 3 of them, Kyle, Korbyn, and Stormy. They were inseparable! It didn't matter they were 3 hours away, one of them was almost always driving to see the other's on Friday nights. Their weekends they would go to the Zoo's, Museums, Fourth of July Festivities, Pumpkin Patches, and Junking. You name it they were doing it! -Here was there second, under the stars, backroad, slow dance.

At the end of 2017 Kyle wanted to make it official, he was never going to let life separate them again... he bought a ring!

This prompted for some very big decisions to be made... who moves where? The debated for days and tried to find a middle ground but the only logical decision to be made was for Madison to move once again, but this time, this was her final destination. Madison moved to Mooreland, Oklahoma and two weeks later they bought a house on 5 acres out in the country.

Why May 3?

The date was hard to choose for Kyle and Madison. And the reason is because the weather in Northwest Oklahoma is SOO unpredictable. Madison wanted a summer or fall wedding whereas Kyle wanted a spring or summer wedding. Winter is just too cold, spring Lord know how much rain Oklahoma will get, summer you have heat waves and temperatures can reach 110 degrees, fall would be just perfect for an evening wedding but Madison, Kyle, and Korbyn all have September and October weddings... - At least they could both agree not to do winter!

What was important to Madison was a sentimental date but since they have no record of when they first started "dating" originally that went out the window. But then after Madison was working on researching her family history she had an though and a question... What date was her Nana married on? The answer, May 3, 1952 in Clark County, Nevada.

So after discussing dates for literally months and months and having dates rescheduled due to Kyle's demanding job they decided they would get married on the same day her Nana was married on, in the same state that her Nana was born in, Oklahoma.
