Traveling to Poland
How do I get from the Kraków Airport to Kraków City Center?
It is very easy! The fastest way is to hop onto the train from the airport and hop off at the stop "Kraków Główny" - in half an hour you will be in the Historical Center of Kraków. When you get off here, it will be within 5 minutes walking to all of the hotels that we recommended. The airport is very small and there is only one train rail that goes into the airport so you cannot miss it.
Uber or taxi's which are parked outside the airport are another quick and reliable way to get there too. Uber's European headquarters are actually located in Kraków, so it's very popular as well.
Another way is to get to the historical center is by bus. There is a bus stop right outside of the main entry/exit of the airport. This will be a longer 45 minute ride.
Traveling by Train - Which train station do I travel into?
Many people have expressed that they will be traveling around Europe before hand. Sometimes trains are better options then flying. If you are planning on exploring Kraków and taking the optional bus tour, the train station you will want to travel into is: "Kraków Główny", or in English Kraków Main Train Station. It is the largest and the most centrally located railway station in Kraków.
If you are planning on going straight to the Wedding Ceremony, then head over to: "Tarnów", or in English Tarnów Main Train Station. You will most likely not be able to find a direct connect to Tarnów from other European countries, but you can always travel to Kraków Główny and then connect to Tarnów. There is at least one train every hour that goes between the neighboring cities. The train ride between Kraków and Tarnów is approximately 1 hour.
Below in the link you can search/purchase train tickets between "Kraków Główny" and "Tarnów", or any other European train connection that goes into Poland:

What about Exchanging Money and using Credit Cards?
Do NOT exchange money at the airport. It is the worse place to exchange money because the exchange rate is always 25% less than what you will get anywhere else. Use your credit card wherever you can because you will be making purchases with the international market exchange rate. However, some cash is good to have incase you want to make a purchase at a souvenir store and they do not take cards. You can exchange money at exchange places all over Kraków which are called "KANTOR". There are usually two on every street, you can walk to both and see which one can give you a better rate. But do not exchange too much. You can usually pay with card anywhere. Ask Kinga about any further questions regarding money.
Poland's currency is "Złoty". Not Euro. The dollar is extremely strong right now (since the past couple of months) so it is an excellent time to travel.
If you have a CONTACTLESS credit card (tap and go), it is definitely recommended to bring that. Most places are confused when you try to pay by putting a card into the slot. It's doable of course, but if you do not use a contactless card, you will be asked for a signature on your receipt and the salesperson is often confused. One more note about card payment, when you pay with your card, it will always ask you whether you want to pay in "Polish Złoty" or "USD". You should select "Złotych," so your bank doesn't double charge you for an exchange rate.
How do I get from the Tarnów Train Station to our hotel at the Main Square in Tarnów?
