Welcome

Can't wait to celebrate with you soon!
Love, Kick and Cole

In January of 2020, Cole moved to Manhattan's Upper West Side while Kick was enjoying life in the West Village. Although the odds seemed somewhat favorable for the two to meet, COVID's stubborn force sent Kick back home to Florida.
2 years later, however, the two would meet at the wedding of Cole's cousin and Kick's childhood friend, Sarah Phillips. Cole was immediately drawn to Kick's immesaurable beauty while she was easily distracted by a man that looked like he had time-traveled from the '70s. The two struck up conversation, and it was quickly discovered that Kick was a Georgia Bulldog and Cole was a Florida Gator. As bitter collegiate rivals, it would normally be safe to assume that this Montague and Capulet couple shared no fate. Nevertheless, they enjoyed one another's company throughout the evening and each left the wedding thinking only of the other.
The following day, the two decided to meet and see if there was anything more than that initial spark.. they certainly were not disappointed. While it was an evening of constant laughter, they realized that there was more than that surface-level connection. The two shared the same faith, values, and ideologies, and Cole immediately realized he must pursue Kick.
A long-distance relationship ensued - the foundation was initially built upon phone calls, Facetime, and many frequent-flyer miles. It wasn't long for the two to acknowledge that this relationship was meant to pursue. Kick moved back to New York one year later and life hasn't been better.
Concerts, restaurants, roof-top bars, sporting events, Broadway shows, church, yoga, traveling... we've quickly realized all of our favorite activities are best done together.
We are so excited to spend the rest of our lives with one another and cannot wait to celebrate in front of our closest friends and family!
After many SkyMiles and devoted faith, Cole thought the time had come to ask Kick if she would join their lives together in marriage. Having an idea of the question approaching Kick thought she'd be able to sniff out when the moment would come. To Cole's delight she was blindsided. He got down on one knee at Battery Park, the southern most tip of Manhattan with a perfect view of the Statue of Liberty. From there they took photos then headed to their apartment a short walk away. Upon opening the door Kick bursted into tears to see her three older sisters and mother dressed up with champagne and presents awaiting her. They had paper rings hanging from the ceiling along with white dress options for Kick to change into for their, "dinner reservation". Another flood of tears ensued as Kick opened up the doors to The Transcript, a speakeasy for the tenants of their apartment building, filled with family and friends from all over. Hugs, toasts, and dancing filled the night of celebration!
Florida has been home to Kick and her family for generations. The state is also home to the University of Florida, a place Cole attended and has felt a deep connection to since childhood. Therefore, the couple has chosen to celebrate their special day on the grounds of Marge and Jim Davis' home. Kick's paternal grandparents, affectionately known as Grammy and Bear, have hosted many family gatherings and weddings here, including those of her parents, Liz and Joe Davis. Their Tropical Garden Soirée will be filled with personal touches amidst the lush landscape. But above all, this celebration is especially cherished because of the guests. Kick and Cole are beyond excited to unite in this beautiful space and celebrate with all their loved ones!

We recommend flying to Palm Beach International (PBI). This airport is the closest and offers a variety of airlines and flight times. It’s also easy to catch an Uber or Lyft from PBI to your accommodation.
Other options include Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) and Miami International Airport (MIA). However, these airports are much farther away, so ride-sharing services may be very expensive. Instead, consider renting a car or taking the Brightline train to Palm Beach.
The Brightline is a convenient train service that provides shuttle transportation between the airport and the train station. You’ll want to get off at the West Palm Beach stop, where you can then take an Uber or Lyft to your stay. For more information about the Brightline shuttle from Fort Lauderdale airport, check out [this link], and for shuttle information from Miami airport, please see [this link]. Lastly here is a link to the Brightline website so you can learn more and book tickets.
Hilton Garden Inn PBG & Best Western Jupiter:
For guests staying at this Hilton & Best Western, buses will provide transportation to the ceremony. Buses will load promptly at 4:15pm and depart from these locations at 4:30pm. See you at the Church!
Other Hotels and Airbnbs:
We recommend using Uber or Lyft to get to the ceremony. After the ceremony, transportation will be provided to the reception. After the reception, you can order another car service to return to your accommodation.
Drivers:
There will be no parking available at the reception. If you plan to drive, you can park at the church and use the provided transportation to the reception. Rides will be available throughout the night to and from the Church and Hilton Garden Inn. Please drive safely!
Rental Car:
If you’re planning to explore Palm Beach, renting a car might be a good option. Be sure to check your hotel’s location and amenities, as many attractions may be nearby. While driving in Florida is similar to other places, be aware that roads can be very crowded during the busy spring season. Important: There will be no parking available at the wedding reception. Please refer to the Wedding Day Transportation section for more details.
Uber/Lyft:
Palm Beach County offers ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft. However, depending on the time and the size of the car you require, it may take a while for a car to arrive at your pickup location. Pickup times from Palm Beach International Airport (PBI) are usually quick, or you can schedule a ride in advance. Kick has had great experiences scheduling rides, even for early flights at 4 a.m. from Jupiter. It’s a convenient way to get around the area!
Welcome to Palm Beach County!
With many towns to explore, take some time to familiarize yourself with the map and check out our recommendations. Keep in mind that in a beach town, dress codes can vary—some places will welcome you barefoot, while others may require a more polished look. Be sure to check their websites for specific details. Cole and I can’t wait to hear all about your favorites!
