The luxury 350-room Secrets St. James is an adults-only all-inclusive resort situated on a secluded beachfront peninsula a 20-minute drive from the airport in Montego Bay. It has a laundry list of features that it shares with adjacent sister property Secrets Wild Orchid, including 10 restaurants, nine bars, an expansive spa, nearly half a mile of beach, and tons of activities: a theater, dive center, piano bar, shopping plaza, and game room. Outdoor pools are lovely, though the nicest one is reserved for Preferred Club guests, who also receive access to an exclusive lounge and upgraded amenities.

A non-refundable* deposit of $200 per room is due to secure your room. If you aren't sure of your occupancy, it's fine. Placing the deposit secures the room and we have flexibility to add or remove travelers up until 45 days prior to travel. The deposit and ONLY the deposit will incur a small non refundable processing fee of $6.28.
When booking your room, you will have the option to pick

To be clear, this will not change your first transaction amount. Everyone's first transaction will be $206.28 and based on your selection, we will either leave the $200 or apply subsequent amounts to your booking.
What you will see on your Credit Card Statement:
• Your first payment will be processed with VAGABLONDE, INC.
• Subsequent payments will be processed with CV CLASSIC VACATIONS.
Second Payment 100% of your booking is due! We will have a card on file for you, and based on your selection during booking, we will automatically use the card on file for this payment, or you will upload a new card using the link on your receipt.

• VERY IMPORTANT: To book at these rates you are REQUIRED to stay a minimum of 3 nights.
• Rates are available 3 days pre/post the room block dates. (based on availability)
• Any changes must be done in writing and changes requested after the balance due date must be paid for in full upfront even before they are confirmed.
• Changes made within 14 days of travel will incur a $25 fee.
• Last minute bookings within 21 days of travel will incur a $150 fee.
To be considered part of the Wedding Group, you must book through the group rates and not through any other method (even directly with the hotel). We have negotiated competitive group rates and secured a room block to make this as easy as possible. Additional fees will apply to visit the resort or come to wedding related events. The pre-negotiated package rates include hotel accommodations, hotel tax, housekeeping and bellman gratuities. Room categories are available on a first come, first serve basis within the block. Room rates are per person per night in USD and include all taxes and gratuities. *Rates do NOT include optional travel protection or transportation, however we will help book your roundtrip transportation as a group and send you a quote for insurance.
To avoid the single occupancy premium we suggest you bring a guest. Single occupancy incurs roughly a 50-100% premium increase for 1 adult in a room.
***IMPORTANT: If you would like to travel outside the indicated range or extend your stay at another resort. Aubree will gladly set you up with a packaged itinerary!

Once you book your flights, send our office your itinerary. Email it to info@vagablondetravel.com using FLIGHTS in the subject line. Unless otherwise requested, our office will try to group wedding guests together to bring down the per person cost. We offer competitive rates with roundtrip private vans and once we have a completed group manifest we will share per person rates! Transportation is not included in the room rate.
Vagablonde Travel is offering optional travel protection with Travel Insured International. Rates will vary per person depending on your age, state, total value of your trip, and if you elect for the Cancel for Any Reason benefit.
The average cost of your travel protection is about 6-10% of the total trip cost so it's a great investment!
You must add insurance within 21 days of booking if you want the Cancel For Any Reason Policy. Otherwise, the "Cancel For Any Reason" benefit will not apply and the only benefits will be for in-travel issues or covered reason. Please note that once purchased, travel insurance is non-refundable.
Our office will automatically send you a quote after you book with your room total and an estimated ground transfer. If our office books your air, we will include this in your quote. If you are not ready to purchase air, no problem. If after purchasing your policy, you buy your air, reach out to us and we will make the adjustment on your policy. Any additions to the policy may require additional payments.
• Cancellations made after the initial nonrefundable deposit (that have not purchased insurance) will incur a $200 per room penalty. Processing fee's not refundable.
• Cancellations made after October 4 that have not purchased insurance will be required to pay 50% of the room total.
• Cancellations made after November 4th that have not purchased insurance will be required to pay 100% of the room total.
• Cancelled air tickets are valid for one year from original ticket issue date.
Closest airport to the resort is MONTEGO BAY (MBJ)
We recommend booking your flights as early as you can. You may book it via your favorite airline or allow us to do so for a small fee of $39.
Consider using miles or credit card points if you have them. If you would like to book your flight + hotel as a package this can be arranged as well. In the reservation form mark "YES" to the flight question and you will be contacted to verify airline and connection preferences for published rates.
However, there is no guarantee that we have better flight prices than what you may find on your own and we cannot guarantee we are contracted with every airline. There may be instances when we cannot book your air if we do not have a contract with a specific airline, such as Spirit Airlines. We are also not able to use credit card points or miles towards your flight.
What to expect
• After booking, you will receive an immediate receipt showing your $206.28 payment with VAGABLONDE, INC. If you do not receive this, your payment and booking did NOT go through.
• Once your booking is processed internally, my team will send you a receipt showing your room category, dates, remaining balance, and what to do next.
• 2 weeks prior to your final payment my team will send you a reminder in case you need to update your file with a new card.
• Early November, my team will send you a reminder email requesting your flight information if we do not already have it. This information will be used to coordinate ground transportation as a group. We will work to group wedding guests together on arrival and departure to bring everyone’s ground transportation cost down.
• 2 weeks prior to travel you will receive an email with links to your final travel documents.
WILL I NEED A PASSPORT?
Yes! A passport is needed to fly to and from the U.S. and Jamaica. - please take the time now to locate your passport and check the expiration date; make sure it is valid for 6 months after your anticipated return date. I FOUND A CHEAPER PRICE ONLINE, CAN YOU MATCH IT?
We are confident in our pricing but if you were to find a cheaper “deal” outside of Vagablonde Travel please allow us an opportunity to price match. We would like to do our best to keep family and friends consolidated in the block at the resort for accountability and organization for the staff. To expedite the process, please take a dated screen shot of what you found. It must include the final total price (with all taxes and fees), what the price includes (dates and room category), the website you found it on.
We understand this is an unprecedented situation and provided below is a statement from the resort regarding what they are doing to prepare for a safe vacation.
