The Story

Key People
Bridesmaids
Meredith Flanagan
Meredith Flanagan
Lady of Honor

Kelly was the first person that Meredith met at RPI and after some growing pains, they became close friends and roommates, ultimately leading to Kelly and Meredith partaking in many shenanigans together.

Kelly and Meredith are the “active types”, some might say at the wrong times. For example, they decided to join a softball league without knowing how to play (think facing the wrong way, forgetting its non-contact, and general clumsiness...). Originally, a lot of their running came from pre-Uber, anti-taxi, post-night out activities. Who knew this would lead from 5ks to casually committing to marathons to eventually Meredith hugely investing time and resources to becoming an ironman?

Meredith and her husband Luke got to know Nick better at their first Ironman and did Kelly forget to mention that he was going to have to get up at 4am to watch the race? They are glad he did as this started their friendship and are very excited to be part of their knot tying journey!

(Meredith, Luke and their daughter Raegan are also the engagement photographers!)

Margaret Owens
Margaret Owens
Sister of the Bride

Maggie is Kelly's youngest sister and currently lives in Boston, MA with her cat Muninn.  Maggie is a reader of pretty much any genre, appreciates a good feel for a fabric and is focused on learning how to see the world through many different lenses.

Maggie and her sisters have spent a lot of time together watching Mystery Theater 3000, baking, and having adventures in PA.   She is excited to have Nick along to experience all the weirdness now too!

In case you're still not sure who she is, Maggie will be the person you'll see stopped to look at that thing over there.

(Maggie is also the designer of all of the stationery for the wedding!)

Mary Ferruolo
Mary Ferruolo
Sister of the Groom
Mary is Nick’s younger, favorite (and only) sister. Over the years, she has tagged along on many of Nick’s adventures and important milestones, so it’s only fitting that she has also found herself a part of Nick and Kelly’s big day. Mary is so excited to welcome Kelly into the family, both as a sister and as a worthy opponent of Nick in family board games. Mary lives in Boston, Massachusetts and when she’s not busy working in finance, you can find her taking spin classes and coaching Harvard’s dance team.
Groomsmen
JP Sullivan
JP Sullivan
Best Man

JP and Nick were next door neighbors their freshman year at Notre Dame.  They quickly forged a group of friends with some others on the floor and the floor above, bonding over FIFA, sports, staying up late, and debates.  JP loves a good discussion, and his passion for things others may find trivial can be heard for miles.  JP and Nick were roommates for the rest of their time at ND.

JP lives in Chicago, IL not far from his hometown of Naperville and is getting married to Steph Lazar this coming October.  A recovering cowboys fan, he also enjoys golfing, Settler's of Catan, and organizing many Catholic Sports and Social events at his local church, St. Al's.

Peter Timbrell
Peter Timbrell
Childhood Friend of the Groom

Peter and Nick met in third grade in Mrs. Sheridan's class.  From there they've done quite a lot together including little league, middle school, lacrosse, graduation, and attending patriots games.  Always up to play any game in the yard, on the rink, or the field, Peter is the guy to have on your team.

Peter currently lives in Bridgewater, MA with his wife Kellie.  He enjoys all Boston sports, Taylor Swift, and catching up with the high school crew at the Vernon bowling alley.

Ross Turner
Ross Turner
College Roommate of the Groom
Ross and Nick were roommates for 3 years at ND and he currently lives in his hometown of Trenton, IL with his wife Sammi.  He recently became a father and hopefully he bestows Eden with the best gift of all, patriots fanhood.  Besides waiting for the Dolphins turnaround, Ross plays golf, roots for the St. Louis Cardinals, and enjoys the occasional Busch Light.
Connor Ryan
Connor Ryan
College Roommate of the Groom
Connor was Nick's roommate for three years at ND and currently lives in Chicago, IL despite his best efforts to escape the cold. Originally from Texas, he married his college sweetheart Ellie and they recently adopted a dog Bo.  Connor's favorite things include college football, golfing, nature, and traveling.
Family
Greg & Sue Ferruolo
Greg & Sue Ferruolo
Parents of the Groom
Greg & Sue both graduated from St. Anselm College but it wasn’t until a Christmas party a few years later that sparks flew. Greg was an owner of Mr. Sparkle Car Wash, a chain of car washes that recently sold. Greg loves to mountain bike & hike. Sue, a nurse, loves Broadway & rolling out her yoga mat, especially outside. Together they love to travel, ski, & deep sea fish. Most of all they love time spent with family and friends. They are thrilled Nick & Kelly have found each other. Especially as they continue to navigate life’s trails, from the easy to the “bump” runs, which are often challenging but can be the most fun!
Dan & Kate Owens
Dan & Kate Owens
Parents of the Bride

Dan and Kate met in 1982, in Portland, OR and wed in their backyard on September 8, 1984. Dan and Kate now live in upstate NY. Dan is a retired computer network professional. You can find him working on the house, watching SciFi, and running down the road. Kelly learned from her dad to tackle the big things one step at a time. But before you even ask, yes, he does need a hand for that! Kate is a house chef for a local sorority (Kelly and several other guests' in fact!). She's creative in the kitchen and loves tending to the garden. From her mom, Kelly learned that it is important to have a big heart and put your family first, even if they're-a-makin-ya-crazy!

They are so happy that Nick and Kelly will be sharing their lives together with joy, bad jokes and love!

Lillian Owens
Lillian Owens
Sister of the Bride
Lillian is Kelly's middle sister and Evelyn is her daughter. In her family's not so humble opinion, Lillian is the most creative person in the family, if not the tri-state area, and can turn a scrap piece of fabric or paper into a work of art. She'll be the first to tell you that Nick is great for Kelly, and is so glad to (officially) welcome him to the family so he, too, can be forever chased by Snake Boy at the pond.
Evelyn Lee
Evelyn Lee
Niece of the Bride
Evelyn is Lillian's daughter and a vibrant 7 year old that loves her pets, her family and raw cookie dough. Her Aunt Kelly is always ready to play a game or run around and for that, she's forever grateful. As for the celebration, she's more than ready to rock a gown and show off some moves at the wedding.
Oscar
Oscar
Cat of the Couple
Oscar is a 10 year-old Russian Blue cat with an attitude and he loves Kelly more than anything in the world (yes, even cat food).  He's thrilled to have a new dad, especially since it means another person to feed him every day.  Oscar is less excited about sharing Kelly's personal space, but if it makes her happy, he will support her every step of the way.
