Kilkea Castle
We have reserved enough lodges and carriage rooms for all of our guests for the night of the wedding. All you have to do is choose which will suit you best. We have also reserved several Carriage rooms for the night before the wedding, however there will be a wedding on the Thursday, so book your accommodation in plenty of time to avoid any disappointment as these rooms will be released to the public 8 weeks prior to the wedding.
There are two types of accommodation onsite;

They will take a credit card to ensure reservation but you won't be charged until checkout. Therefore, those sharing lodges, will be able to split costs etc. If you would like to book the 3 bedroom self catering lodges, it is best to team up with other people/couples and have one person from your lodge secure the booking for the nights you will all be attending.

FREE NOW (formerly MyTaxi)
FREE NOW is Ireland's version of Uber, it's a handy taxi app that allows you to order taxis anywhere in Ireland.
Tipping in Ireland, for the most part (there are exceptions) is completely optional and entirely at your discretion.
When to tip: It’s pretty standard to leave between a 10 and 15% tip in places where you’ve had a meal (e.g. restaurants, pubs and cafes). If you're part of a large group, a service charge may be added to your bill so check before tipping.
When it's not necessary: In a Pub - it isn't the norm to tip the person that’s serving you a drink. They won’t expect it so don’t stress about it. However, if you're receiving table service it would be custom to leave a small tip.
