What's the weather like in Ireland in July?

Average temperatures in July are between 60 - 68°F. Apart from short refreshing showers, summer is Ireland's driest season. July gets about 18 hours of daylight, only turning dark after 11pm in the evening. Hence the well-known saying in Ireland, “make the most of your evening”.

Tipping Culture in Ireland

Tipping in Ireland, for the most part (there are exceptions) is completely optional and entirely at your discretion.

When to tip: It’s pretty standard to leave between a 10 and 15% tip in places where you’ve had a meal (e.g. restaurants, pubs and cafes). If you're part of a large group, a service charge may be added to your bill so check before tipping.

When it's not necessary: In a Pub - it isn't the norm to tip the person that’s serving you a drink. They won’t expect it so don’t stress about it. However, if you're receiving table service it would be custom to leave a small tip.
